That is so cool that the kids get time with their gramma. I miss my grandmother. She died this last December. She was a really special person to me. My dad is the only one left for my kids. I have a step mom and she's good too but it's just not the same.  Breakfast: oatmeal (sf maple/regular) soy milk, protein powder (this was 30 grams protein) Snack (actually second breakfast): 2 eggs and 3 ounces of steak. 1 bite of home fried pototes that I didn't count.  Lunch?: Hmm. 1/4 cup of roasted sunflower seeds and 1 SF Choc Chunk Cookie Dinner: 2 big meat balls (2.6 oz) 1 oz of ground up buffalo roast in spagetti sauce and 1 cup of Tortellini Tri-Color Pasta.  Dessert: 1 Choco Chunk SF Cookie Totals:  Calories 1682 Fat: 82 Carbs: 143 Protein: 109 And the pedometer saide 4.2 miles yesterday. Looks like I may rack up 4 more miles today too. Busy day planned. Barbeque over at the neighbor's house and cleaning is in order today too. Maybe even air up the bike tires and take that out for a spin.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

We lost jo's dad the same month we got 3 of our children so they only thing they remember of him was how sick he was with cancer.  With mom being all alone we try to make it a point to see her every other weekend and call her every night.  She loves it and the kids do too.  She has a beautiful ranch in Yucipa with 4 horses and the kids just love to go and ride and see her.  She spoils them rotten too, but it's ok.. she's their grandma.   I lost my mom 9 years ago so my children never got to meet her.  My dad remarried and she is a nice woman but., like you, it's not the same. Wow.. you do a lot of walking.  I really dont do a lot with my job.  I am lucky if I leave my office and thats just to drive to meetings and come back.  You have a very busy day planned, but it sounds fun and productive.  Now you see why you need more calories..lol good day for you.  take care and I will see you tomorrow Carla
