Back To Basics

I saw the dietician yesterday and she gave me the guidelines I needed to get myself back on track.  So now I'm back to the basics: Measuring my portions in the 1 oz cup. No caffiene Food journaling She also changed my vitamin regimen.  I don't have to do the Flintstone's chewables anymore.     Always hated those things.  That was one of the reasons I would lapse on my supplements.  She also changed my calcium from the Viactiv chewables to another source.  I have a few options but haven't decided which it will be yet.   I had also gotten in the habit of drinking with my meals.  That was letting me eat more than I should have and led me to think I have ruined my pouch.  Thankfully I can say I haven't.  Just from eating today and not drinking with the meals I'm getting full even before I'm done with the allowed amount of food.  Hopefully with these tools I can get back to losing and get back into the clothes I used to be able to wear.  I've seen that once you lose the weight you CAN NOT go back to eating "normally".  I won't be making that mistake again.

Sounds like you are on track, your attitude is postive, I am sure you'll do great.......isn't it amazing when you follow the rules, you realize your surgery is working!

Well look at you!!!!  Didn't you get your sh--tuff together!  Doesn't it feel so good?!!!  I made myself a long over due doctors appointment myself this morning! Two weeks ago I thought I was losing it too...So I know how you felt in your first post! :::Cheers::: for all of us getting back on track!  (I almost feel guilty saying that knowing I have no intention of putting on sneakers to run...even though I really should...lol) I'm so glad for you.
