I am on day 2 and starving.  I will make it, I have to.  I want to start losing again.  I want to hit my new goal.  I just have got off track and the weight loss stopped and actually I gained 3 lbs.   Anyone else doing this now??????????  I am doing protein water, jello and pudding.  This is all I can have, right?

What is the 5 day pouch test?  I'm a little over 3 years out and starting to gain and crave carbs.

www.5daypouchtest.com  I think this will get you to the link.  It really is not to lose weight, but help you feel restriction again  when you do eat. This also helps with de-carbing. Good Luck

That's what I used~protein, water/crystal light, s/f jello and s/f pudding. I know she has some really good looking soup recipes at the website that can be used on days 1/2, but I didn't take the time to make anything like that up. Remember that there's no calorie restrictions, so if you're hungry, down another protein shake to get you through. Good Luck!

Miranda:      I'm also on day two of the 5 day pouch test.  I'm not hungry.  In fact, I never feel hungry.  My whole problem in gaining some weight back was grazing, grazing and grazing on the wrong stuff that contained too many calories.

        I've had two large protein drinks already - one for breakfast and one for lunch (16 oz each).  I've also had a 20 oz decaf coffee and am working on my 2nd 20 oz water.  I've got a 3rd protein drink ready for when I leave work around dinner time because I have to pick up my dad to take him to get his dog at the vet before 6 p.m.  Tonight I plan to have some sugar free pudding for my nighttime snack.

      I'm going to the bathroom a real lot the past two days.  I did this before, but didn't follow thru on it.  This time I feel much better about getting thru the 5 day plan.  I'm making my tuna and my eggs ahead of time this evening for my meals tomorrow.

    You can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!............and I know that I can do it as well.    HURRAY FOR US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try soup...I made a lentil and sausage (easy on the sausage...mostly for flavor)  soup that was hearty and the warmth make me very satisfied. I had that for dinner and protein drinks the rest of my meals while continuously sipping water all day long. The second day I got a chili and bean soup from the grocery store...as it had a lot of protein in it...Split pea and ham soup from a can is good too...or canned lentil soup by progresso is really nice. Hi Miranda and Kathy, I'm on day 2 as well and I can't believe I've made it so far. I avoided: crepes with whipped cream and Nutella on Monday (I even made them!) cookies from a friend (today - she gave them to me!), French toast (leftover, on my kids' plates) today (made with my own fresh homemade bread, sigh!!!), and all kinds of little "finger nibbles" including: grapes and leftovers on plates.  I did eat about 10 almonds today... but I chewed them really well.  I hope that doesn't count as wrecking the whoe thing - but I was starving and it was there in my kids' lunchboxes :-( Otherwise, I DID make the bean soup (and have been living off of that and 2 protein shakes a day) yesterday and today.  I wasn't hungry at all yesterday, but have been pretty much starving today.  I got some of those little SF jello cups and ate one of those, too. I'm SO looking forward to my scrambled egg and chicken-in-a-can tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!! I gained one pound today too.  I don't know what that's about - maybe all of the salt from the soup?  I also walk 2 miles a day, 5 days a week.  I'm not sure what I'm doing WRONG here!!!

Hi I have not been to this board in so long but I am came peeking and saw your post.  I am on day 3 of the pouch test.  I never thought I would be so happy to eat an egg white ommy.  LOL  Although its working I only ate half.  I am also down 3 lbs from Monday so that gave me more motivation. I believe we are on the same day so if you want a support buddy I am with you. Rachel

I'm on day 3 of the 5 day pouch program.  Currently eating my tuna for lunch.  Had scrambled eggs for breakfast here at work and was full from that, which was great for me.

Plan on having eggs for dinner this evening as I have a meeting right after dinner till later tonight.
