It's that time again.. how are we all doing.. gaining, loosing or maintaining.  we are all on different paths but this is the time to sound off with all your accomplishments.. remember are all successful here cause we made the choice to change our lives for the better.. So let us know how you're doing.. Last week 122 This week 120 Down two pounds... go figure.. been eating more lately and I loose.. sometime I just dont get it.. I am happy I have maintained my weight now over 3 months between 120 and 124.   Grats all..  Carla

grrrrrr.  This weight has got to shift eventually.  I've upped my protein dramatically this week.  Next week WILL be the week it moves down again. Have a great weekend everyone

I really hope so Carla.  I'm sick and tired of the numbers not moving.  I'm exercising again and have discovered pork rinds as a snack - high protein and low/no carb are the ones I've found, and the calories are about the same as a bag of chips.  I get my salty crunch satisfied AND get my protein up.  I think it is a win win situation.  I'm not going to let my eating go to pot just yet because I haven't seen results.  I'll stick with it for another week.  Thats' how I'm getting through at the moment, hanging on in the hope that next week will be the week that changes things. I want to be back in the 160's next week~~~

Hi Carla, yes it does cause us to go crazy, not easy to figure out what the body wants to do. Last week:  128.8 This week:  127.6

Carla, this is were my obession with the scale causes me some problems, lol, I know that 125 lbs is probably where I need to stop and I hope I can convince my mind of that........I want 119 lbs, yes only because it starts with 11, BUT I also go back and look at my pictures at that weight and I look old and sick, it's really to small for my body structure, we'll see I guess if I get below 123 lbs I'll have to adjust my eating.......isn't this so confusing, lol.

I know that feeling.  I hit 119 and knew I shouldnt but that 11 number made me feel so good.  It's actually hard for me to want to diet again just to get below the 120 mark... Thats why I get so happy when I remain just above it.. I'm affraid if I hit that number I wont want to go back up and loose even more to keep below the 120 number.. does that make since to you.   You are doing great. Carla

Wow. Down two pounds? So maybe I need to eat LESS to gain weight? LOL Well, something is working.  Last week: 119.8 This Week: 120.2 But it's that time of the month so I'm afraid by Sunday I'll be down to 118 again. I'm getting a better outlook on it, though. Since June 2007 I've been between 122 and 118..That's maintaining better than I have been in my whole life..So I'm good. And I guess ending the week on a high note is always a good thing.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!
