Had a good day.  Talk about hidden calories (and fat and carbs!!!)  look at my fiber wafers!  But I *need* them, kwim?  Oh well - didn't hurt my totals so I won't complain.  I felt like I ate a lot, but I still can't finish a 4oz portion of meat at dinner.....thanks to the 5dpt.  I have noticed that I am throwing portions of my meals away because I am recognizing the full feeling once again and now that I am eating the right foods, it is staying with me longer.  I have even had to spit a bite out here and there because I knew it would make me too full to swallow even one more bite LOL B - South Beach Cinnamon Raisin protein bar      140 / 5 / 15 / 10 S - protein drink    70 / 0 / 1 / 17 L - 6 oz chunk white tuna (mixed with 1 tsp dijon mustard and 1 tsp sweet pickle relish) in 1/2        low carb Pita & 1/4 c broccoli slaw      185  / 2 / 5 / 38 S - 1/2 c crab classics with lemon   90  /  2  /  12  /  8 D - 3 oz lean ground beef     151 /  10  /  0  14       1/2 c steamed asparagus    22  /  0  /  4  /  2 S - Dannon Light & Fit blackberry yogurt   60  /  0  /  10  /  5       Metamucil Fiber Wafers   120  /  5  /  17  /  1       1 small drumstick from a deli chicken   43  /  1  /  0  /  7 Totals:  880 cals     25 fat     64 carbs      102 protein       drank about 100 oz water/crystal light and did 1 hr aerobics.

Nice... very nice.. still on the low side of calories but the choices are very good.  that dense protein helps keep you full longer and makes the body work harder to digest.  you are doing great... Hey we all have our one evil delight and if yours helps you like that you gotta stick with it.  I am sure it all comes out in the end...lol Carla

LOL I know - I feel like a newbie again.  I gross dh out at the table when I run to the trash can....he knows it's coming when I stop chewing and get that "uh-oh" look on my face....I haven't had to do that in a couple of years!!!  What a HUGE difference it makes eating solid protein first instead of the potaotes, pasta, rice etc.  I could always "overeat" those and just be a bit uncomfortable, but with the protein....even one bite too much and it gets stuck in my throat and has nowhere to go but OUT!

That's just a communist plot, I'm thinking...I post when I drink something like coffee cuz it has at least something in it but crystal light? Yikes.

I had a horrible day yesterday. I was so busy I couldn't snack so my calories are really really low. AND I never got up to walk around except to run to the bathroom and back. Hubby and son came to take me out to lunch (once in several years) so we did get to go to lunch but even that...I got so stuffed, I didn't feel like eating for several HOURS...

Breakfast: Malto Meal, Wheat Germ, Soy Milk, Protein Powder, coffee

Snack: Bison Jerky (1 oz) and 1 oz cheese stick

Lunch: Beef Broccoli, egg drop soup no rice.

Snack: 1 can iced coffee

Dinner: 4 oz broiled chicken thigh, 1/4 mashed potatoes and 1/4 cup green beans

Dessert: 1/2 a wine cooler Other than that I had one container of crystal light (24 oz) in the morning and another one on the way home (24 oz) and two cups (10 oz) of coffee with SF Swiss Miss. I know I'm getting in my water but the calories? Not sure..Maybe add another 300 calories? Totals" Calories: 1360 Fat: 45 Carbs: 100 Protein: 117 I'll try and do better today and at least grab a tangerine or something. I didn't even have time to drink my V8 juice or eat my yogurt cup yesterday..Pretty sad when I actually have to bring home a lunch box that still has food in it...

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I am sure it is..lol.. how dare they give me calories just for being good and drinking... I am on protest now...   Not one of you ultra high days but you did ok.  carbs are low but protein looks good.  Did you pop yourself in the head for the V8... lol...  Just shaking up the body for a day so its all good. Have a fun day. Carla

That is great to hear.. Keep up the good work and keep on sailing.. one of the nice things about posting your food is it gives others ideas for something new once in a while like buffalo chili.  I am still trying to find that.  I learn a lot from what others are doing... Today I found out my crystal light had calories.. go figure.. Take care Carla

Good morning every one.  I notice that people are paying attention to what they drink today.  I put everything I consume on my fit day.  Sometimes I forget to add my water and vitamins.  I REALLY like my Low carb Fuze drinks.  20 calories and 4 carbs in the whole bottle.  They taste really good and sometimes I mix my vanilla protien scoops in about a cup of it.  Way better then with water.  I got too busy again yesterday to walk but did very well on my food.  I weighed myself this morning and am down to 192 so things are going the right direction!  I start every morning with a 24 ounce sugar free cherry mocha with 4 shots of espresso and that is my treat to myself.  I used to drink 2 on some days but have decided one is enough.  That is where I get a good number of carbs.  Today is day three of very low carbing.  Seems to be working for my kick start.  Have a great day everybody!
