Hello there, does anyone remember it was months ago the program where you only drank liquids for two weeks to reset the pouch.   A woman from the board was told to do it by her doctor and she was very successful with.   Does anyone remember who she was and the name of the program??    I was wondering how she is doing today. Hi, Sorry I don't & haven't heard of that. Do you know what "reset" exactly means ? I guess I'm confused. I was told that once your pouch is stretched out it doesn't go back. Not that I agree...I don't know. I know that 2 days of liquids/pureed made a differance w/ my pouch.

Reset mean just make your pouch feel like new -  like the 5 day pouch test, but this one was done for 2 weeks.  I remember doing it and losing 18 lbs.

wow!  18 pounds lost!  What did you do, just protein shakes or what?  Have you kept the weight off or has it gone back on when you started eating?  I did the 5 day plan and lost 4 pounds but it all went back on when I started eating again.  I'm still struggling to get them off.  I stuck to the 5 day plan but I'm not sure I could stick it for 2 weeks.

That was the "time out" program by a particular member's doctor. Several-including me-have had GREAT success with the www.5daypouchtest.com

and YES-your pouch-and your BRAIN can be "touched-up"

That is what it was called the TIME OUT  wow thanks Gina    I was wondering whatever happened to the woman that started it, is she still on the board.  What was the outcome of her time out program.

I have gained about 50 pounds of my 130 lost.  I think I need something more drastic than the 5 day plan.  Anyone know where I can find this 2 week plan??

There are no quick fixes. 5 Day plan is a great restart and refocus.  The key to loss, cut the carbs, cut the portions, add the protein.  I lost 17 lbs in 3 weeks with 5 day

It was called the "Time Out" program, probably have to go to past  posts to look for it.  Another poster was told by her doctor to do it,  I do believe it is 2 weeks of liquids (like a newbie) and then add one meal of salad, I forget the rest,  I actually lost 18-20lbs on it.
