Hi, I would suggest a good forum site for you on OH would be the January '08 forum. I found as I went through the pre and post-op process, those who were experiencing the same things I was were the best listeners, and often the best source of information for me. It helps to know that you are not alone in what you are experiencing. They may become some of your best friends on the web. Good luck to you as you go through this journey.

You are more than welcome here on the Grads board, but have you also posted to the main forum? (I'm too lazy to check.) I'm just thinking that you might enjoy more of the posts on that board since so many of the people there are in the earlier stages of post-op life, and you might find a support buddy that you have a lot of the same issues to discuss. (There are also many long-term post-ops on the main forum, too.)
Please don't misunderstand that you shouldn't post here! I'm just wanting to make sure you realize the difference between the forums.
Welcome to life after wls!! May you have the BEST journey!
Jo

Always,
Jo

Consider calling major hospitals in your area, and see if they sponsor weight loss support meetings... It can be a Dr. other than yours, lapband or other types, but we have many areas of commonality. Also consider calling the county DSHS to ask if they have any referrals for you.
I had Lap RNY 25 months ago and have gone from size 32 to size 10, and now I am 5 days post op from having the abundance of sking removed from my upeer, lower abdominal and pubic areas.
Find a prayer partner at a local church, go one day at a time, and add exercise as soon as you can.
Check if there are any churches offering eating disorder groups through Celebrate Recovery. It can help deal with the emotional challenges revolving around food. You can succeed with the help of the Lord and there are many new things awaiting you.
Best wishes and God bless you.
