Oh piffle. I don't count sugar alc. They won't fatten me up, in fact,
, they might have the opposite effect.
On the front of the bar is the net carbs. I look at actual sugar (or padding for hips, use your words) and net carbs only.

Oh gosh, no. I lost wt when I cut out al carbs totally. Don't really like meat or fish, at least not 4 meals a day! So, I did bars or meat or fish and dropped maybe 20#? Was traveling, so don't know for sure. Pants were tight when I left, falling off on the way home. LOL
I lost 9# on purpose, had 4 to go and then we left.
Not making me fat, BUT I have them in place of a meal, not in addition.
