crackers and the protein bars got you. They were for the most part good carbs so not to bad.   I eat protein bars myself but try to do the shakes more because of the amount of carbs in them.  You still had an awesome day and 123 is not that bad.  Keep on sailing girl.. Carla

Carla - thank you so much for your feedback.  I know it has to take a lot of time and effort to respond to us all but it sure helps with the accountability.  I know that i can usually handle the protein bar but Graham Crackers... Please - on what planet am I that  - graham crackers were a good choice for a WLS patient.  But it is great to hear someone else reenforcing what I already know.  Thanks again! Trudy

Well yesterday wasn't good at all... 7am: Achievone Mocha java (20 grams of protein) 1pm: half of a chicken sandwich (not a good choice but hungry since I was in court all morning) 4pm: achievone mocha java  dinner was the other half of the chicken sandwich.. so I know I got in at least 60 grams of protein and about 700-800 calories...not enough I know..

I agree on the not enough.. try and get those numbers up.  Believe it or not you loose better when you are eating more and getting more protein in.  At least thats my experience with it.  Keeps the metabolism going and the protein makes your body work harder. see ya tomorrow Carla

I normally don't have a problems eating :) I usually have to watch what I eat ...but yesterday just wasn't good...I am doing better today with both food & liquid ...thanks Carla

Well I did good yesterday.  I am now only doing one scoop of protien drink at a time and did'nt feel like taking the last one when I got home and mu numbers were a little low so I had my favorite grilled cheese, not the best choice but not the worst.  I will try to psuch myself out to take the 2 protien drinks a day.  I was getting really good at Taking the one a day,  just have to convince myself that I NEED two.  I will try today.  Here was yesterdays food:

you still did good.  ouch on that fish sandwich.  Its strange how you would think a fish sandwich would be good for you than you see the fat and cals.. I did that with mcdonalds food on a few of their items.  Still good choices for the day. see ya tomorrow. Carla

My days plans were all put on the back burner when I woke up to no heat. My furnace had been repaired twice in the last two weeks, they came out again today, after a several hour wait. This time they admitted it was their fault, they tightened something to tight and it cracked causing the problem with the furnace so a least they didn't charge me anything today. I got so cold waiting I stayed in bed with my electric blanket until it was fixed, then went out to do errands and ended up getting the xxxx chocolate.

Oh my.. i bet you were cold.  I wouldnt have gotten up either.  Looks good except for the low protein number.  you need more right now to help you heal.  Glad you got it fixed and they didnt charge you.  That would have to be upseting after fixing it twice before. see you later Carla
