Hi All, I thought I would checkc in with the experts.  I am 3 years out-I struggle with low iron. I just got my lab results.  Ferritin is down to 20, alkaline phosphatse is also down to 31 which it has never been before.  I looked it up on the internet but didi not see much on low levels just on elevated levels. I thoguth I would see if you all had experience.  My doc didi not seem too concerned. Your values don't seem super low but low ALP can be due to celiac disease (wheat intolerance) or scurvy which I think is low vitamin C.   A vitamin C supplement might not hurt. Kathy

What are you taking for iron?  How much?  What form?  How often?
