I know with calcium there is a differnce. Is there a difference between these 2 iron forms?

On PAPER, the chelated iron absorbs best. In real life, the carbonyl seems to raise ferritin better than any other iron. Generally, carbonyl is gentler.

well, the basics are:
protein
iron
calcium
A, D, E
B1
B12
zinc

Those we have to supplement, far more than a multi. Sooner or later. For sure.

But I take a ton of other stuff. I read. A lot.
5 htp & GABA for mood/sleep/awakeness
dhea
mealtonin for sleep
cranberry cuz I had one UTI, do not want one ever
GTF Chromium to stabilize that pesky blood sugar
milk thistle for elevated liver enzymes
magnesium citrate for foot/leg cramps
mag oxide so I'll um, have my "blessed event" every morning
more, but I can't remember them all
and i've tried lot of other stuff over the years that didn't appear to work so I rejected them

Need more? I don't necessarily suggest all those to the average person. Kinda freaks 'em out. LOL But I read, I try stuff, and go from there.

Stuff like cranberry..l. does it work? I dunno, since I can't measure the result, except by the absence of UTI.

and be glad you're not my husband! If it says "prostate health", he is TAKING it! There's some stuff you just can't HAVE breaking down, KWIM? And we're "of a certain age" now.
