Has anyone tried the 5-day pouch test to regain momentum on their journey?

I did the 5 dpt a couple of weeks ago. It was the BEST thing I have done for myself in quite awhile. I was completely off of my bariatric program: obsessed with carbs/food, drinking with meals and basically doing all of the things that I shouldn't do as a post-wls patient. I don't know how I got so far off track....but  I'm thankful that I did this before the scale started creeping up on me. The 5 dpt has helped get back in control and on course. I feel so much better, and it sure doesn't hurt that scale is finally moving down again. :)  .

I agree with Brandi.  I was so carb addicted!  I did the 5DPT at the beginning of the month.  I'm so much more in control now.  I'm staying away from sugar completely and have greatly limited the bad carbs.  For me the 5DPT works! Michele

Thanks so much for replying.  I look forward to trying the test this week.  I want to feel "new" again.
