I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced this type of pain!  When I eat too much fat, sugar or carbs, I get this horrible pain that shoots from one arm through my chest to the other arm.  It's a horrible feeling!  It usually happens when I eat too much fat in my foods but sometimes it can happen when I eat too much sugar or carbs also.  Does anyone else have this problem and does any one know what it is?  Thanks everyone!

Sorry, can't say that I have. Tightening in my chest & short of breath sometimes tho.  I would definately let the Dr. know of course & check it out even if it isn't anything serious. Do you have any heart problems or in the family? I have a heart murmur & sometimes I wonder about that when I get pains. Both of my parents & 2 sisters have heart conditions/blockages so I'm always on guard.   Maybe there is someone else with better knowledge. You look great by the way ! Take care

When I experienced those symptoms, I had gall bladder attacks..............just a thought.

Is it possible these attacks are coming about 3 hours after meals and in the middle of the night?  It sounds like my ulcer when it was active.  My surgeon explained most ulcer attacks happen on empty stomachs and the pain is from the stomach acid hitting basically a raw wound.  Certain "rough" foods like nuts can cause ulcer pain for me as well.  My chest pain was pretty bad.  Ulcers are known to mimic heart attack symptoms.

No, it comes on really quickly after eating too many fats or sugars.  I figure it has to be the 'long termers' dumping syndrome or at least something to do with it.  It sure is scary though!  Ugh!
