Did You Move To Lose Today? Knock Out Punch!
Hey Everyone
It's darn cold here today, but I got my butt out of bed and went to my free boxing class. Ok, I am being so honest here. I go to my gym and take classes and weight lift and have tried a lot of things. I have never in my life had such a work out. The club is new so I was the only one there and had a one on one with a professional lady boxer. We did 10 mins of exercises to warm up, I mean military style stuff and then we worked on the bag and form for all the different punches. There is so much to remember. head, hand*****hes, body movement. Once you get the punches down you do drills where you hit the bag at one pace and then speed it up.
You would have laughed your butt off at me, at the end I couldn't hold my hands up, and I thought I was in pretty good shape. I was sweating like crazy, and as you know us WLS people freeze to death and it's hard to get us to sweat. Then she had the nerve to have me do more exercises on the floor at the end for abs. It was very cool and I ended up signing up for a year. I HATE contract stuff but if I wanted to work out there I had to. Besides, I think I will get more one on one classes until this catches on so that is worth a lot.
I bought my own pair of gloves, do you know what color they were? Guess?

well I have had this balance ball for about a year & I finally decided to really use it.. only problem is my kid has been playing with it for so long it was kind of flat & pretty dirty.. well I tried using it with a video i got & it was to awkward and off balance & small for my butt.. so I was on a mission and I went to Target & I bought a new ball..
I LOVE IT.. and man are my abs SORE.. it really was a non-hurting workout but the results are being felt today.. I am excited.. its new & fun & doesnt hurt while I am doing it.. jus the results.. so I cant wait to feel the burn some more today..

Was it an exercise ball? I love using one for my abs and sides. Great for planks and pushups.
I love it, the kids beat the air out of it
I think I read somewhere to get the right size you should be able to sit on one and have your knees at a 45 degree angle.

It is amazing how changing things up really shows you how many different muscle groups there are in the body, LOL!
I did something new today too~I happened to switch the channel to FitTV at 9am so I did their 1hr. slowrobics workout~its aerobics based, but slowed down some to work on firming and toning. Anyway, I too found out that I had some muscles in strange places after doing it, LOL!! Then I went with dh and did the full body weight workout.

We're not on a dish, just cable. We have it thru Time Warner Cable, but also got that channel when it was Adelphia cable. It is a really great channel. You'll have to go to their website and check it out. I like to dvr the workout routines so I can do them over and over whenever I want. I really like their step, jump and pump~great workout! Hope you can find it on the dish!!!!!!!!!!
