Monday was Day 3 for me on 5DPT. Breakfast-1 can sardines in water Lunch 1/2 can salmon in water Late afternoon 1 can salmon in water Late dinner-broiled salmon steak and some flaked whitefish All this first was plain.  The salmon can in the afternoon I had some salt and pepper.  Also, I had some decaf coffee, green tea, and water.  I followed the no liquid when eating rules.

I am in a silly mood. sorry.  If I eat fi****s once in a very blue moon so I envy you there on that. In looking at what you ate you were well within the numbers, cals and protein wise. Carla

I still can't do hard-boiled eggs either...I follow Emeril's tip and cook eggs just to a boil, remove from heat and cover for about 10 minutes.  I drop them in cold water, peel and sprinkle with a little S&P...soft-boiled perfection!

Well they either work or dont work for me.. lately they havent been working.  I have tried a couple of ways but today it didnt work...  Wish I knew something that I could eat that had that protein and filled the tummy for the morning. Wow is right on your protein but wow on all your numbers. Good day just keep on sailing Carla

Eggs didn't much impress me early out. Hard boiled ones seemed to swell or whip up in my pouch and get nine times their size. And all that for 7 grams of protein max? Nah, I usually skip that first thing. In a cup of hot cereal I can do better than two eggs and it's soft and warms up my pouch pretty good. I can eat an omelet or over easy or medium but you have to watch that too. I didn't notice it but IHOP adds pancake batter to their eggs. What's up with that? It's filler, that's what. AND it's cheaper than adding another egg. Cheapos!  I'm gonna try to do a bit better on the fiber end of the spectrum now. I want to add some veggies and fruit to round out the whole picture. Still only the high quality carbs and protein. I think if I stick to the best stuff the fat levels and carb levels will follow, right?
