Hello Everyone, It is MrsB and I am happy to say that I completed the 5 day pouch test on last friday (sorry I did not get a chance to post the results).  I weighed in yesterday and I lost a total of 8 lbs.  I feel awesome.  I am not craving at all.  I can say that the support from you all was a big key factor.  For anyone that wants to get back on track, the best advice is to get support from someone.  Becky and Bridget, thanks for much. I was really feeling down  15 days ago, but you guys jump in right with me and I can't thank you enough.   As for now,  I am continuing on with the protein ( 80-100 g), the water (80-100 oz) and low carb everyday.  I have also increased my workout and I am really into it now.  I am halfway to my goa!   For all of us that are 4+ years out,  we have to accept the fact that we can never let the weight get the best of us.  Try not to let your weight gain get to far!  Get help immediately and that means going back to the basics!  I love you all!!!!

Your post is inspiring. I am on Day 3, and wow, I am so happy to have a can of salmon dry.  What a pleasure after 2 days of shakes. It was hard.  I didn't cheat once, and I feel a real sense of accomplishment. However, I was EXTREMELY WHINEY AND ANNOYING TO THOSE AROUND ME!!!! But, to me that was a sign that I was having food issues and I needed to regroup. I am at goal, so the weight loss is a plus but really, I was just tired of being hungry all the time.  I now realize it was complete head hunger.

IT seems the 5dpt was a great reality check for you and that is the key!  Keeping in touch with triggers will help us to to our goal and substain the weight loss.  I think that I will do this every so ofter because it helped me mentally as well.  I feel motivated to feel and look good again.  Eating healthy and right have to be a way of life for us!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!  It's amazing how natural it feels to get up and be in control again isn't it! My clothes feel better and I am a happier person. It helps me to remember the early days and all the big "wow" moments. I am re-committed as well , as so happy to have found the strand on the forum. I feel at home and it is good to be able to "talk" with others who understand. I have conquered the MT. Dew battle and so I am moving on to exercise this week, but it is so hard to find the time! - I rejoined the gym last Thursday and haven't gotten there YET! I teach full time and have four children who are all involved in a ton of stuff. So I have to practice the "me too" mantra in order to remember that I have to fit time in there for ME TOO! Thanks for being a sounding board! Enjoy those eight pounds gone and have a great week! Bridgett
