THIS EVER HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE OR AM I "SPECIAL"?
I know your pain. I have maintained my goal weight for 6 months and stopped working out in August. Last week I started a competition with my husband and worked out 3 times. Guess what - I gained 3 pounds and went over my goal for the first time in 6 months!!! SCREAM OUT LOUD!!!! I hate this. I did think it was water gain from my sore muscles so I'm trying not to freak out but I AM FREAKING OUT!!! I will just hold on until next week. Good luck.
One more thought - could it be that cutting out the cream and sweets has lowered your calories too low? MAybe you need to add some more healthy calories to replace the ones you cut out. You don't want that nasty starvation metabolism to kick in...
