Well I have had a crazy crazy day.  My son is finally asleep.  As many of you know I have a 13 year old autistic son who is mildly developmentally disabled.. well he needed some dental work done.. that means knocking him out.  What a day.  3 baby teeth pulled two fillings and he is gonna need a root canal for a tooth he chipped.  So he was not a happy camper as you all could guess.lol.. Just another fun day on my vacation... NOT.. So how is everyone doing today... are we sailing right.. I did ok I think  here was my day
breakfast:

Needed to drink more but the calories were there.. could of used a bit more protein as well but hey.. not bad considering what I have been doing all day. See you all tomorrow for what I hope will be a quietier day Carla

Welcome aboard.  Do you do you sparkpeople or fitday to measure your amounts.. seems a bit low on the calories although the protein looks pretty good.. it still could be a bit low.   Hope to see you again and joining us on our travels to good health. Carla

I used to use fitday in the early times.... now Im 2 years out.  I felt like I ate like a pig yesterday so I think I need advice from time to time and I appreciate you letting me know it was low.  Yes I always get the protein in and vitamins... I dont want to be bald ha ha.  I take protein shakes/ tubes.  Jess

Wow nice protein day for you.. I wish I could get mine that high.  I keep working on it.  keep up the great job.  Bob feels much better today and is even smiling.  He had such a bad toothache all weekend I am sure he is happy that is gone. Thank you for caring. See ya tomorrow Carla

Very nice day Anita.  still need to up that protein a bit and if you are gonna do that much exercise you should add a couple extra cals, but your choices for the day are wonderful.   Good job Carla

ok i will try more protein even if i have to have another shake. i will try and add more calories. :-( yes i am exercising everyday now so i see i do need to up the calories since i burn some off. anita

I'm with you AnitaJo, at least I'm trying!  Yesterday wasn't so bad, but just to give an idea of what happens after dinner--my total cals was 820--including my pm snack!  But a fit of grazing while I was on the phone with a friend landed me here : B-1 turkey sausage pattie, 1 egg, and 1/4c grits w/ 1/2 slice of cheese (around 10am) S-applesauce, another sausage pattie (around noon) L-1/2 turkey burger w/ turkey bacon and guacamole (around 2:30pm) S-None (napping) D-3 oz B/S jerk chicken breast, 1/2c steamed cabbage (6:15pm) S# 1- 1/2 apple and 2 water crackers w/ 2T pecan chicken salad (ate this while preparing it at approx 7:30pm) S #2- other half of aforementioned turkey burger (about 9:45pm) S# 3- MORE pecan chicken salad (2T), 10 MORE water crackers, and 1c. reg sweetened iced tea (between about 10:30pm and 12:15am while on the phone!) 1450 cals, 58g fat, 139g carbs, 98g protein, 18g fiber 56ozs water Despite the post-dinner fallout, I did manage to get about 30 min of cardio in with the Extreme Makeover workout DVD.
