I feel for you Mags!! Believe me I know how hard that must be to try to deal with the pouch test when all those foods are around! I am not working right now....(thank god at least in this aspect) so I don't have that problem. I will tell you that today is day one on the pouch test for me.....I haven't been awake long enough to start feeling crazy.....but I know that later when my fiance and my future stepdaughter start to pig out........that it is going to be hard for me to watch!  I would say just stay out of the break room. Everytime you see all that crap.....drink some water. Invision all of that crap in a fat blobby form, and then imagine it sticking to your thighs or something LOL! You didn't struggle all day yesterday just to give up now. You can do it!!! Tomorrow you can eat more, just think of it that way! Good luck!

LOL I hear ya! That is a good way to imagine it though! I am drinking water and just had a sugar free lime jello cup. I cannot wait till later to have the chocolate sugar free pudding cup! I think I am going to go work out to get my frustrations out.

Here too!! Yesterday the table was full of cookies and chocolate. Today it is covered with donuts and crossaints. Yesterday I got sick of looking at them so I actually threw some of the chocolate away! SHhh.. Today, I'm just ignoring the whole table. Don't look too closely and have something healthy to eat or drink. Good luck!

Maybe put a piece of gum in your mouth? When I'm baking in the kitchen I put a piece of gum in my mouth. it keeps me from licking my fingers. Just a suggestion.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Hey, I was one of those gals who took all of their cookies and candy and plopped them down in the teacher's lounge!  I thought that was pretty darn smart of me to get them out of the house:)

whoops. I missed the 5dpt part of your post, lol. DO NOT eat the pepperoni and cheese as I suggested. Instead just think about how long that food has been sitting in the fridge and God only knows how long it sat out the last time it was served. Blech.

Mags let me help you with this. You have NO idea who in their family has touched that food, was it Uncle John who does not wash his hands after using the rest room, Cousin Erica who has a cold and sneezed into her hand, Aunt Mable who made the cake, licked the spoon and then tried it again?  Thankfully I'm a germ-a-phobe so the thought of eating stuff brought in from someone's home does not tempt me in the least! Doesn't mean I won't eat nonsense though if i purchase it or my family and I make it!  You keep doing what you're doing, being thin and healthy is worth WAY more then a few cheese its and some spinach dip that could have been left out of the fridge for hours at someone's house!
