OK, so I know I really need to get on the exercise bandwagon...I have never been great at this! I have been fortunate to maintain great loss at this far post-op...will be 4 years in May. I will gladly admit that exercising has never been a great priority to me...I am on of those 'on the bandwagon for a while' types, and seem to fall off quickly most times. I have 2 jobs and a toddler, and am just looking for ideas on how to easily add some exercise to my day. I don't take the elevators at work, I don't usually park close to the door when I go out somewhere...just looking for anything, I know you guys here are ones who can give me some great tips!!!

Walking and weight lifting is the best. I walk 2 miles on my treadmill everyday and lift 3-4 times a week. Those resistance bands work well also. I also like to do water arobics, my nut says its really good for tightening up lose skin.  Sounds like you keep busy working and having a toddler, but thats not the same as getting your heart rate up. Good luck, Debra

If i am having a hard time getting my exersize in, (which is frequently with a 4.5 yr old and 2 yo)  I make a game out of it.   I play with my girls... I play dance party for 1/2 hr...play tag in the house, play ballerina, or charades.   My girls really have fun with it ( and so do I) and before i know it i am breathing hard and starting to sweat and it has been a half hour.  For an added bonus do it before bed and they will be extra tired.   hope this helps a little.   jessica
