5 day pouch test--any takers?
I'm definitely in but can't start tomorrow (I'm having my bracheoplasty tomorrow) but I will definitely be doing this! It's just what I've been looking for - My original wls was Feb 06 and I'm inching up on 2 yrs and I'm up 8lbs since May - after loosing 190 so I do NOT want to gain any more. I need to get back on track and I think this will definitely help!
Oh, boy! Congrats on your surgery! May it be uneventful and may you have a speedy recovery!
I believe that protein loading with mainly protein shakes helped me heal quickly from my plastic surgery procedures. Come back and visit the thread so you can read how we're all doing....maybe we can inspire!

I've a question though. I posted it on the 5DPT site, but haven't gotten an answer yet. I get day 1 and 2. My confusion arises on Day 3. Can you still have protein drinks in addition to the fish, eggs, etc? Then on Day 4 can you still have eggs in addition to the other protein for Day 4? Or are you only to eat the specific foods listed for that day?

I believe that each subsequent day incorporates the previous day's food choices. So, on days 3/4/5 you can have protein drinks in addition to the expanded food choices, if you choose. I think the important thing is to get yourself back to planning and scheduling meals.

Yes I live in Tonawanda! Do you miss the crappy weather here? As you know it sucks so bad around here in the winter there is not much else to do besides eat and I think that is why so many people around here are fat lol.
Yes the Unjury is amazing! I actually bought it online from their website and they shipped it to me in like two days! The chicken soup flavor is really good. It is mostly clear......and it has a good chicken broth flavor to it. It is 90 calories and 21g of protein! I also bought a sample of the Unjury Strawberry Sorbet and that was really really good, so I am ordering some of that tomorrow.
I am so excited about this.......I finally feel like there might actually be some hope left.

I went out yesterday and bought a container of my favorite protein drink, Isopure chocolate. Its really good heated like hot chocolate. I also made a pot of homemade bean and ham soup, I think this is better because you can control the sodium. I have gained 15 pounds in the last year and have my 2 year checkup in march, so need to get back to basics. Debra
