Well the weekend is almost here and I am on vacation for 2 weeks.. yeah.  It is getting closer and closer to Christmas.  How are we all doing.  Those snacks out there are calling us.  I actually ate a piece of banna nut bread with walnuts today..  It was so good.  that is the first time I have eaten a piece of bread since wls.  It went down and stayed so that was a good thing.

So here was my day.  Fell  asleep on the couch right after dinner.  Will drink a protein shake now to get the protein up for the day.

 

breakfast:

We took a short car ride up to Randsburg to have a malt at the 100 year old soda fountain. I didn't have a malt but hubby did. I drank a cup of coffee..Too cold for malts for me. AND I attempted to make my famous Christmas fudge and totally ruined it. I'm so out of practice. I think it makes a difference that I can't eat the stuff anymore so I may never make that fudge again. Poor family. They look forward to it each year. I'm going to try one more time today. Breakfast: Oat Bran Cereal made w/ soy milk and raisins. (raisins didn't agree with me again. I had to have a protein bar in an hour and a half because of the sugar dump) Second Breakfast: Huevos Ranchero (1 egg and refries on a tortilla with sauce) Lunch: 4 oz Cooked Shrimp with ****tail sauce and a cheese stick Dinner: 1 buffalo patty, fried with pomegranet vinegret and lettuce and tomato Dessert: 2 pc of SF Russel Stovers candy. Totals for the day: Calories: 1553 Fat: 63 Carbs 142 Protein 118 All in all a good day. I sure do love shrimp...Lots of protein, no fat and no carbs..
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Good day for you.  I have the same problem making things now.  I dont eat it so I am not sure how it taste.  I always have to ask them for feed back.  Crazy the things we need to adapt to now... and honestly I dont miss it.. or maybe I just dont let myself think about missing it.. I do know I would rather not than dump so I am sure that has something to do with it as well... Nice protein level for you.  keep that up.  See ya tomorrow Carla

Howdy and Happy FRIDAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yesterday started out great as most days do, then 5 mins after eating lunch I had the worse DUMP I have EVER experienced.  Now mind you I dump all the time, tuna I eat today I may dump tomorrow on it, its just the weirdest thing... One day its good not necessarily the same the next time I eat it... And it can be fixed the same exact way... Lunch today was the same scallops and shrimp I had before, have had it 5 times since it tastes sooooooo good... (blech on that now lol) same low fat sauce, I make it so I know for sure.. It just was horrid... 1.5 hours withering in pain, crying, awful awful feeling... Then it passed like nothing happened... So dinner and today will be liquids...  B= 2 eggs/ 2 cheese 28g protein S= 2 cheese sticks 14g protein  L= HORRID, lol 36g protein, at least it stayed in D= water Bedtime= AchievOne 20g protein H2O= 142 ozs Protein =  98 Christmas Huggs Debbiie

That sucks big.. I have done the same thing.  I hope you are feeling better now.  every day is a crap shoot with food.  thats why I tend to stay with what I know I have never dumped on.. at least yet. protein is low for you but that is understandable. Hope you have a better day today. Carla

Ya know I hear ya........This is what I live with daily and sometimes its the pits... That seafood I made has been the bomb... Love it, low fat, great protein and bam, dirty little bugger !!! Today is ok so far, low protein probably but I understand... I can float away that is for sure... See ya later kiddo Christmas Huggs Debbiie
