I threw away cookies and chocolate!  They are giving (not asking) if you want small plates of cookies/fudge at my work - they just put it on your desk and walk away.  I threw the plate in the garbage once they walked away. I'm in a new job (since October) and no one knows I've had surgery - gained some weight back and am doig the 5 day pouch reset - today is day 1 - liquids. Normally I would eat it - but as I posted yesterday - I need to  get back on track. Glad I resisted and feeling better about my resolve to start over and not give up.

Good For you BRAVO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would of had to add bleach to the trash as well, lol.. jk.. Great going...Makes me wonder would they put the cookies and chocolates on someone's desk who had diabetes.. I know folks mean well, and it was nice of you not to make a scene but to very graciously TRASH THEM SUCKERS, lol Christmas Huggs Debbiie

That is fantastic - well done!! I know how hard that would have been for me, and yes, I would have been looking into the trash all day thinking about pulling them out again!!! I'm sure you'll do great on the 5 day plan - you have certainly started off right!

Hey, Way to Go!!!! I have a hard time throwing food away~not just b/c I want to eat it, but also that whole guilt thing about throwing out good food (its ridiculous!)~so I have to give you alot of credit for doing it! I'd say you're committed to the 5 days!!!!!!!!! Good Luck and keep us posted!!!!!!

You go Girl!!! That is awesome, and I know it was hard...I too started the 5 day diet today. I gained a little and have been feeling really crappy about the gain and physically. It is 5 lbs. but the fear of going back to what I was is so strong that I need to get a hold on my habits again. I have been eating everything under the sun and moon....And I crave carbs like you would not believe...Good for you, Have a happy christmas............Sunday
