Fruit put 8# on me, because we never malabsorb sugar. I know there is a myth out there that natural sugar won't harm us, but it's not true! Still sends the pancreas scrambling, some mroe than others, so the trick is moderation.

Not larger amounts, cuz that's just pouch stretching. It's about the intestine. The part of the intestine that is receiving bot food and digestive juices is the far end, pretty much. Its job was to absorb some of the macronutrients and the main stuff was absorbed up top in the duodenum. If you force the smaller end to try to BECOME a duodenum, it will absorb more, but it won't be: iron, calcium, A, D, E, zinc or B12.
