Anyone has a little determination they can spare?

Good morning everyone, I've been jumping from board to board & I think this is where I fit in.  Had gastric sleeve on 2/9/06, I never got down to healthy BMI & then started gaining!   I've gained 10 lbs!  I'm trying to get back on track, I know all the things that I should be doing; watch the sugars, exercise, water, etc.  My problem is that I don't put them to practice long enough to reach healthy BMI (Right now I'm 19 pounds away) Anyway, thanks for listening guys, I don't post very often but I'm here everyday.  Happy holidays to everyone & happy losing. Maggie

Maggie, most of us never get to an "ideal" weight after wls ... I've lost 155 lbs and regained 5 lbs ... It's sooo easy to regain the weight, isn't it???  My BMI is about a 29, and I am happy with it (though I want to lose the weight I have regained).   I've thought about joining Weigh****chers or TOPS ... It's hard to stay motivated, and the additional support would be great.  Do you exercise regularly???  That is the ONE THING I started post-op and have faithfully maintained ... 30 min of cardio 5-6 days per week and strength train 2-3x per week.

Hugs,

Annette

Hi Maggie!!! It does feel like such a struggle every day!! Just remember that you don't have to be "perfect" every day, but just strive to do your best most days. Its strange how some days you can be on such a good track and it seems easy and other days are just plain hard to get thru!!!! Keep on working it and you'll make it to your goal!!!!!
