What's going on?

I'm confused. Does anyone know why alot of the old timers and VERY INFORMATIVE people have suddenly gone away? Even their profiles are either gone or empty. It's very sad. koukla

Koukla, The "exodus" has been taking place for quite some time now.  Many of the people you're referring to have moved on to different forums.  One that I know of is called Quixotic WLS, which you can google--I am probably not allowed to list the link  here.

People ebb and flow.  Trust that those *****main here are suppose to be here.  When others leave due to whatever, busy schedules, changes in priorities, crashed computers, sickness, it allows others to step up to the plate to fill their shoes. I guess I don't pay alot of attention to that~people seem to come and go b/c of so many reasons so I don't take it personally. I appreciate input from everyone so it doesn't bother me if someone makes a choice to leave b/c there always seem to be someone else to fill that void.

People leave for various reasons. They have politcal differences with someone or various ppl, as in something they said or somsone said offended somebody. Many, many think they can step into life as if they do not have the disease of morbid obesity and don't need support. Still others start regain and are too humiliated to participae, even though asking for help is the way back.

Yahoo Grads has been around since 1999, and ppl come, they go, they come back. Those are miffed easily go away and come back. Many stay put and fight the daily fight for life to stay healthy. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Graduate-OSSG
