Hey Everyone TGIF...we only got a couple of inches of snow last night and it was like powder so moving it was not painful.  Kinda fun...my dog Rocky was running around and trying to catch all the snow in  his mouth.  Duh, he didn't get it, but it was cute... Last night was arms...we did 5 sets, this kid is trying to kill me.  I think this is pay back for all the time outs when he was young Triceps Standing/Sitting and bent over rows         8/10/12 lbs        reps of 15/12/10/6/6 Biceps Standing/Sitting and bent over rows      same as above Preacher curls with bar                             20/30/40 lbs       reps of 12/10/10/6/6 Then we did this really strange thing.  It was to make the forearms stronger.  That is what controls all of our strength when lifting or doing any kind of workout with arms. IT was a stick kinda thing with a rope on it and we put a weight on the end, then we rolled it up and down with our arms out in front of us.  It sounds simple but was really hard.  Then he got me to laughing and it was downhill from there. So my friends, Did You Move To Lose Today?  Come on, let's finish the week strong.  I will be working out tomorrow and Sunday but not posting.  So see ya Monday and we will account for what we did on the weekend Stay Strong, Sexy and Sassy Take care, Kathy

Kathy~ Wow, great work!   I've done that weight/string thing and you're right it's hard and my forearms were shaky for some time afterward!  :0)  I love that feeling. So this morning I walked to my DVD walking away the pounds...I did the 3-mile in 47 minutes.  It feels great with the knee lifts and leg raises while walking.  I can feel in my tummy area and the muscles above my hips!  Yes, I'm getting those muscles tight! I love it, I love it, I love it!  I can't wait to have a slim and trim waist...(I think it might happen with the trainer at work and this tape) Take care, Selena

Kathy,  you are my hero with that killer arm workout! Today is my "off"day since I have already shoveled and did my 3 flights of stairs 2x at work. I am going to see my 4 yr old niece in her Christmas pagent tonight in Kenosha and won't be home till late. BUT! even on an off day I will promise to take the furthest parking spot, already did that once today, and  motor my behind to the building.(my point is even some small things can help if you don't have the time.  Lets face it, I haven't missed a walk since November 27th, there are going to be days like these.) Back at the walking Saturday and Sunday, I might even make it to the health club one of those days.the place might come falling down at my presence because it's been months..... More snow to come,  we don't need to expand on that anymore. Have a healthy weekend! Tmac

Friday update.

Got out of work early so I was able to fit in a walk, 35 miuntes.  Going to be 4 degrees on Saturday so we might make that the off day.

Have a great weekend, on my way to the spa for a pedi and mani for my husband's christmas party!

I am going to stick to my guns at the party, 1 glass of vino.  I don't want all this hard work blown on one night!
