I whipped this up last night and wanted to share it with you.  It is nothing but protein and is very tasty. Saute onion and mushroom in a bit of olive or peanut oil. Cook ground beef (season as desired, I salt and pepper), drain, and add to the onion and mushroom mixture. Add blanched spinach to this and let simmer a few minutes. Beat some eggs and tabasco sauce together (ever how much or little you would like), and pore over the ground beef mixture.  Scramble up and enjoy.

I have recently started using ground turkey in some of my dishes.  I thought I didn't like it, as it was too bland.  So the answer is to really, really spice it up.  I usually add salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and ginger to the ground turkey as it is cooking.  Tastes pretty good to me.  I eat a lot of ground beef and turkey, not because I have trouble digesting other meats, but because I don't like to handle raw meat very much, and cooking with ground is the easiest form for me.
