Welcome and I can say. Probably not enough. I dont know the values either but it seems kind of low especially on the protein side. I know you need more fluids too. Its ok, many of us are trying to get there ourselves.
Try using sparkpeople to input your food. It really helps.
Hope to see you tomorrow

Gad! I'm jealous. I can't do a hard boiled egg to save my life...For some reason they swell up inside my pouch and I end up losing it...And they are such a good source of protein. I wish...I wish..But I do eat omelets so I guess that's okay. You're doing good.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

This day wasn't that great for me either...I'm trying to boost the protein but it's not always easy.
Totals for me:
Early breakfast: 1 cup malto meal, 1/4 cup raisins, coffee (2 servings with soy milk)
Snack: Protein bar
Second snack/fluids?: Wolfgang Puck Basil Tomato Soup. The whole can (2 servings) I was just cold and didn't want to drink tea...Wanted something a bit more substantial but not coffee.
Lunch: 1/2 of that previous burrito. Seems this half was more ground beef and less refries..Hardly any cheese but I counted it as an ounce. I figured 3/4 cup cooked ground beef, 1/4 cup refries, 1 oz cheddar cheese. There was some rice in there but it didn't amount to 1/4 of that...just bits in total.
Snack: 1 single lemon roasted peanut (5 calories, no protein: Need to remember to take that bag home...It drives me crazy sitting in my desk) and a cup (6 oz) of light yogurt
Dinner: 1/2 cup-3/4 cup? Turkey left overs, 1/2 cup of mashed potatoes, 1 ounce of gravy, 1/2 cup of yams (yum) it takes me a long time to eat this much. I eat alittle and wait and then eat some more and wait some more...
Snack: 2 Milano SF cookies (2/3 of a serving)
Totals for the day:
Calories 1818
Fat 68
carbs 208
Protein 93
You know, I don't see any rhyme or reason for me to be maintaining at 118 pounds. I should be gaining weight but I'm not at all. Even after that 2100 calorie day..I should gain part of a pound this week but I'm still maintaining. Next week I should put on a pound of water weight (that time coming) and I bet I don't. I guess the small improvements will count the most. I made my malto meal this morning will a full cup of soy milk so the protein level will come up for today...
My issue is that if I increase the calories that I intake and start gaining, how hard will it be to cut back to where I am now to maintain? I've steadily increased to about 1800 calories a day, should I increase to 2000 a day and see where that has me? Should I wait and see if the stress hormones will kick in at 18 months like they say?

Hey Missus,
Just wanted to drop in and offer my own insight/experience...When I started to truely maintain ( took about 4 months to level off losing) I was 125, I could eat a REALLY wide range of cals in a day including bad choices like chips and lots of sf choc, not matter what I didn't gain or lose more than 1.5 lbs either way - even went on a cruise during that time and pretty much grazed non stop without any side affects...Then right after my 2 year anniversary I notice I couldn't be all over the place anymore, I needed to keep it in a very specific range or I would pick up 1 lb, then 2, then 3, then panic, cut out all the simple carbs until I got back to 125...This was good until about 2 1/2 years out, it work'd for me, then one day I woke up and pick'd up that 1 lb, then 2, then 3, then, 5 , then 8, now I seriously had to take a step back and review...My doc told me bounce back is common @ the 2 year mark, foolishly, I keep thinking its not going to be me, but it was...I would not wish that on anyone, we all work so hard to lose it and all want it to stay gone for always....I've read several posts that at around 2 years the body had had time to adjust itself to the malabsorbtion factor and at this point it is really about working your tool the right way, its still small and helps you limit your total intake at one meal, but it is the consistant good choices and regular exercise working to help you maintain into eternity...
Good Luck to you, keep working hard at your program and making the best choices possible as regularly as possible...I know that's what I'm doing, each day is a new challenge, I will perservere, I will concur, I will control my destiny...I AM THE CAPTAIN...
