Well happy Thankgiving all.  How was your day.  Waht did you all eat.  How did you ship sail today. I decided to snack on some cheese and pepperoni than I couldnt eat my turkey dinner... I managed to eat the yams.. I love yams and that was all I could fit in.. but it was a good day with family and great food. heres what my day looked like.. it was a snack a thon...lol
breakfast:

Girl I know you are not going to believe me! lol here is what I ate just yesterday......... Lunch..........a sliver of turkey,ham,mash taters with gravy,corn,broccoli cass. stuffing,tater salid,and 2 rolls. I ate all this at one sitting. snack about 2 hours later......a silver of peacan pie....it was not sugar-free.................made me sick but did not puke......... dinner was a repeat of for lunch................ snack a sliver of with sugar........pumpkin pie and sweet tater pie...  did not puke but had to hit the bed.....dumped bad!! I gained 3 lbs............in one day.....but it was so worth it....It is a new day..... amy

That is awesome.. I am so happy to hear you are eating....now keep it up.. you know you can do it.. dont worry about gaining weight... you need it ok.   Have a great day  Carla

That is absolutely a different set of facts than you outlined on the DS board in your post there. Wherever the truth is for you, you should understand and appreciate that several individuals on here have worried about you and tried to help you. Have some respect for yourself and for the generosity of the others on here who take it to heart when someone like you asks for help.  Tell the TRUTH and don't manipulate facts to suit your emotional needs. Before anyone chooses to flame me for what I've said here, please read what she posted on the DS board....and read her blogs. I wish her well, she needs help for certain, but aside from the fact that her pictures depict some serious issues, the rest of the facts don't seem to add up. If someone could encourage her to get the emotional and mental help she needs, they'd be doing her and her family a huge favor. There are a lot of people on here with serious issues, yet they take the time to stop and be kind to others...that is much too important to be taken advantage of. (Not sure if this will fall in the correct place in this thread, it is directed at HOTMAMMA)

You aren't going to believe my day at all. I was so afraid I was going to eat too much there in front of my sister (who was not at all supportive of my surgery, jealous, all of those "things")

Here was my day:

Breakfast: Malto meal with banana, same as normal

Lunch: 3 egg omelet (they don't say how many eggs, estimated) with ground beef and ortega chilies and cheddar cheese, 1/3 cup grits

No snacking but I did do some baking and running around my own kitchen before we headed to my sisters in the early afternoon.

Dinner: Moist cooked jumbo shrimp, I figure a cup or so, they were giant and yummy and it was a while before dinner, maybe 2/3 cup of roasted turkey (I calculated 4 ounces) with no skin, about  a 1/8 cup of mashed potatoes with possibly a 1/8 cup of gravy. Spinach dip (maybe 3 T) and two ritz crackers. I was good. I didn't eat fast or too much. I was good. But then a couple of hours later I got hungry again and got just alittle ****y...I had a piece OF PUMPKIN PIE. 1/8 of a 9" pumpkin pie...No dumping at all but it wasn't too sweet.  My totals for the day:  Calories: 1695  Fat: 72  Carbs: 130  Protein: 129

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Wow.. nice day.  I know the feeling eating these meals with other family members.  Makes it tough but you did awesome.  good numbers all the way around for you.. glad to hear you had a nice holiday with family. Enjoy your weekend and I will see you tomorrow. Carla

I'm in Oregon with my sister and her extended family (some from Japan!!), and the day with a loving family was so great that the food was an afterthought! I ate: B:  Isopure Dutch Chocolate shake in nf milk, small banana Dinner at 1:30 PM: 1/4 C turkey (light and dark) w/gravy 2 small chunks of sweet potatoes 2 T mashed potatoes w/gravy 2 T dressing w/gravy tiny bit of spinach salad 4 fresh green beans sautee'd with garlic Took a long time to eat, loving being with family and a less-than-one year-old baby learning all about drumsticks! After dinner:  coffee and 1/8th slice of pumpkin pie, 1/8th slice of apple pie. STUFFED!! Played Hide-and-Seek with the baby! Went to bed at 8:30 PM still full, didn't even want any leftovers!!
