Hey Dwight..... Have you tried flourless peanut butter cookies:   Val (one of the regular DSers ) has a couple of  great recipies on her profile(http://www.obesityhelp.com/member/valgroce/)...snack type foods....perhaps some of them can be modified for RNYers....here's the recipe fo the cookies .... Magical Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe courtesy Paula Deen Ingredients 1 cup peanut butter, creamy or crunchy 1 1/3 cups baking sugar replacement (recommended: Splenda) 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Instructions Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a large baking sheet. In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, 1 cup sugar replacement, the egg, and vanilla, and stir well with a spoon. Roll the dough into balls the size of walnuts. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet. With a fork, dipped in sugar replacement to prevent sticking, press a crisscross design on each cookie. Bake for 12 minutes, remove from the oven, and sprinkle the cookies with some of the remaining sugar replacement. Cool slightly before removing from pan. When I was in my weight loss window, I used the trail mix  a lot.  The little bit of "chocolate" really helped quench the cravings.   I've never made it, but  people rave about the ricotta fluff, and the custard.....perhaps one of these things could give you that night time sweet fix that you've been craving. I hope this helps Scott

Dwight: No great suggestions other than what has already been written, I just wanted to take a minute and tell you that you look amazing. I looked at your profile and the change is amazing. You look 15 years younger!!  Great job!!

Dwight, I can relate. What I have been doing now is saving some of my daily alloted calories for the evening which happens to be my bad time. For when I crave something sweet I have one of my sugar free, low fat muffins that I make and that ususally satisfys me and  I don't feel deprived. Sher

Hi neighbor!  I posted something similar last week.  Not only do I want to eat at night, I have a hard time getting to sleep and staying asleep (partially an age issue I know    ) I've been drinking a protein drink around 10 PM, it seems to be working.   It's just not the same as a good helping of carbs though!  Michele

WOW you look amazing. Yes, I hate that night time problem sneaking in too.  I feel every night it's a fight.  I do like the sugar free jello and cool whip idea. Good luck  Seems like we're all in the same boat. Koukla
