Post op four years and have hiatal Hernia...

I just had an EGD and colonoscopy for severe constipation and what we thought was an ulcer.  Anyway the GI doc found a small hiatal hernia and some colonic spasms.  Anyone else have this.  I have felt crummy now for three months and still they havne't seemed to figure it out.  I think I might have adhesions but they are so hard to figure out.  Maybe it is just these things he found...anyone??

My father lived for years with a hiatal hernia...it caused him to throw up often after he ate.  I hope they find out whats wrong with you and can fix it....it sucks not to feel your best. Scott

 I had my hernia repaired (very similar to you however it took them nearly a year to find it) when I was 3 1/2 years out.  I would suggest that you listen to your doc and ultimately YOU KNOW YOUR BODY BEST and how you want to feel as a result of it....do what you find it right for you.
