Been gone awhile-Have a few questions??
Greetings Susan,
I'm 2 1/2 years out from surgery and I have regained also--approximately 19 pounds. I too am frustrated, but I like the tips given here--I'm really going to work on losing the bad carbs.
I exercise, and although I don't love it, I've found an exercise that I do love--bicycling. When my schedule permits, I bicycle 50-60 miles per week and would do more if I could. I also go to the gym and occassionally jalk (jog/walking because I jog so slowly!)
My worst habit is still night eating. I do fine planning and eating during the day. At night, though, when I relax, the bad carbs still call me. Those mostly consist of something sweet--I can't eat a lot of sweets because I will dump, but I do eat enough to keep the calories too high.
Thanks for everyone's tips--I'm going to change my nighttime habits to either exercise (hmm . . that's a hard one because I'm so tired) or go back to housecleaning (that works, although, again, I'm tired, but I love it when my house is clean) or perhaps crafts: knitting or sewing.
