Accountability.. what did you eat Friday
Well it's here.. the weekend. what are you planning on doing this weekend. For many it's a 3 day weekend.. so share what you got going on.. I love to see how busy our lives have gotten since we are able to do more now.
I am going to grandma's tomorrow to go horseback riding if it doesnt rain. and Sunday and Monday I am building a wall in one of my rooms. Shouldnt be to hard so hope to be done with it in a day.
Oh.. I gotta tell you.. I bought a pair of 501 button fly jeans today. I havent worn a pair of those since I was a kid. Size 27- 30 not to shabby if i do say myself. I have never been in a pair of pants that small..

I'm just getting home from work. Had a horrendous (sp?) day eatting wise. Wow, I guessed high on this and it still stinks. I need more concentrated effort!!!

Dh and I went to lunch after school for his birthday which was today. But then right before I went to work I realized I hadn't eatten (cuz I slept all afternoon and then got groceries). So he wanted sonic. Well, I couldn't turn down a sonic burger (which I haven't had in over a month now)

Don't you love to wear jeans that fit? I love that. Today (Saturday) will be shopping and getting the house ready for company for Thanksgiving. I'm gonna crock pot some hamhocks and beans probably Sunday and we're having cornish game hens tonight for dinner...But it's house cleaning and putting away the halloween stuff and putting up the Fall/Thanksgiving stuff (and planning the Christmas stuff). I may make a set of curtains for the family room if I find the right material and look at (and decide maybe) on curtain fabric for the bedroom...Three picture windows need curtains in there and the new doors (double glass doors) need curtains too...Yikes. Alot to do and only three days to get it done.
Here was my Friday:
Breakfast: 1 cup Cream of Wheat and 1/4 cup dried apples (butter buds and splenda,gwos) and coffee
Second Breakfast: Balance Protein bar (found a DEAL on them at the 99 cents store)
Lunch: 3 ounces of shrimp on a tossed lettuce and spinach salad base, Light Ranch dressing (1.5 T) and a Homemade Protein bar
Snack: Honey roasted peanuts 1.5 oz
Dinner: Homemade meat loaf (4 oz lean ground beef, 2/3 an egg, 2/3 a hotdog bun, 1T barbeque sauce, onions according to hubby's calculations)
Bedtime snack: Balance Protein Bar
I drank 10+10 on coffee, 10 tea, 24+24+24 on water. 102 liquids.

I'm trying to concentrate on the protein and stay away from the carbs so much. My carbs are mostly early in the day so I figure they aren't going to stay with me too much. The protein is later in the day. Maybe that makes a difference.

hi carla,
how can i stay accountable when when i do fitday and i worry over my carbs? fitday makes me so stressed. thats why i stopped fitday. it seems like i can eat more food i know over a cup. i am 4 years out. like maybe i will have 4 oz of meat and 1/2 c. vegs and some other veggies or something. or should i just have a few teaspoons? or should i try that 5 day pouch test? what do you think? anyone can answer also if they read this... thanks .. it seems like i want to snack at night even on good snacks. how can i stop. do you all snack at night if not how do you not snack and how. thanks. anita
