I am on day 4, even after jumping from day 1 right to day 3, ( couldnt do the liquid thing) Im doing good. Was tempted with nachos last night while out with freinds but only ate some of the toppings of ground burger. Im feeling good about it havent lost any weight but sure can feel the pouch getting tighter. A little on the constipated side, did some milk of magnesia last night to try to get things moving, need some fiber here. Debra

Yep, I'm back in the game after blowing it on Monday.  I restarted yesterday and I am happy to report that I did only liquids for the entire day! Yeah!! So far so good today, but I am determined to do it this time, in the right frame of mind and ready to roll!!!! Congrats to you on 4 days! That's fantastic!! I too was tempted last night with nachos, LOL! After my PTA meeting we went to Applebees and some ladies ordered spinach dip w/nachos~I LOVE NACHOS!!!!!! But I resisted and felt really good about making the right decision! I had  some hot tea and was quite content.

Tracy good for us for resisting the nachos. I love nacho also and always feel there not so bad because those chips are SOOOOO little, but dangerous. When I was first out of surgery we would go to taco bell and I couldnt even finish one of those small beans and cheese things. Now I can do the NACHOS BELLGRANDE!!!. I wish I had those first few months back, dont you.  Well good luck and hang in there, you can do it, Debra

I had started it last week but blew it on Day #2.  I was going to start again when the @#**** the fan and unloaded a lot more stress on me!  I have been eating pretty decently, not on pouch test but not eating the wrong things either.  I just have to put the pouch test on hold until I can buy the right groceries.  Right now I have to stick with what I have in the house--luckily it's a lot of healthy stuff--low fat soup, etc.

I'm finishing day 4, too.  Hasn't been easy especially the later in the day that it gets.  Evenings and nights are my challenge.  I tried to do this 2 other times before and only got to day 2.  I'll be doing a big wahoo at the end of Day 5.  I'm determined I can do it this time.    ~~Gail

Debra,  I haven't started it again yet but I think I'm going to on Monday, I did real well and kept it going for a few days afterwards but fell right back into the "easy" way.  I can still feel my pouch so not all is lost but I need to get in touch again (at least I haven't gained any back from the last time).  I got constipated too, that's the only downfall as far as I can tell.   Have a great night!

I'm on day 2.  I'm hoping this really works,  I've been grazing due to stress and need to get back on track.  Best wishes to all. Ann

Finishing Day 3 here. I totally do NOT like fish, but I ate tuna and salmon today anyway--I should get a blue ribbon or something just for THAT..lol...2 days of liquids was MUCH easier than choking down that fish. I definently feel the "tightness" back in my pouch-and I LOVE it. I did the "pouch reset" a few months ago, and have just recently felt the carb cravings, etc start creeping back in. I totally believe in the plan. y'all hang in there--it's well worth the effort!!
