9 months too soon?

I'm 29 started at 352 last December, has Surgery at 320 in February, and I'm currently at 220.  I'm 5'6" so I started with a 56.8 BMI.  I'm at 35.5 now.  I'm still losing and have 50 to 70 pounds still to go, but I just feel ready to start participating on this board.

I take all my vitamins, I'm beyond serious about my doctor's eating plan, and I keep active.  I just feel like this is my life now, even if I'm not 'done.'  I know I have many pounds left to lose, but I'm looking for a different 'maintenence' or 'long haul' type of support now, I think.  I see the daily accountability threads and the Friday weigh ins here, and I think I'd get a lot more support from that than surfing the main forum sifting through posts from new ops who are fretting over their first stall.  Not that I don't sympathize, don't get me wrong. :)

So, should I come back in three months? :D

Or, can I stay? :D

Of course you can stay!!! If you are finding value in what's here vs. whats somewhere else than I think that's great. We all need support and ideas from others~I know that has helped me several times along my journey. Congratulations on your weightloss so far and I wish you continued success in the months ahead!

its all about support, and if you get support here and it meets your needs, then why go elsewhere?  The main goal is that we love each other through the tough times, and cheer on successes, and help encourage eachother through the day to day work, and I do mean WORK of maintenance. welcome!! blessings, Tami
