Good Morning fellow 5DPT'ers!!!!  I feel wonderful this morning.  These last two nights, I have slept wonderful..it's amazing what two days of liquids can do to you...took away that bloaty feeling in my tummy and most of the carb cravings.  I still had a tough time yesterday evening...got to get out of the snacking at night, but I still did good.  Anyhoo, I started today off with a hard boiled egg and will have a protein shake later this morning.  For lunch, i made some Chicken Salad (tuna just does not sit well with me), I plan on having Tilapia for dinner (can't wait)..... My intake for yesterday was about the same as Monday...averaged around 110grams of protein.  Did not weight this morning, as I think I will wait until Saturday morning!!!! How did y'all do??? Beth

Well, I survived the first two days also. I didn't have any protein shakes, can't tolerate them. YUCK!! Just like you, I get the evening snack cravings, so I had some Jello at about 10:00  last night (while I was watching The Biggest Loser - how ironic, huh?) I weighed this morning, although I wasn't going to, I've lost 3 pounds.  I ate soft eggs for breakfast and they were WONDERFUL!! However, about 45 minutes later I felt like I was going to have diarhea, but I was at work by then and fought the urge. I guess I'll live. I'm looking forward to tuna at lunch.  All this Halloween candy around here is killing me!!  Have a good day all!! Kina 5'4" highest 222 lowest 118 current 135 goal 115

Beth, I am with you I feel wonderful.   And, the best part is I am not hungry and not looking and thinking about food all day. The protein shakes have really kept me satisfied.  Today so far I've had a protein shake and lunch will be tuna salad (tuna, egg and very little mayo).

I also survived the last 2 days and was so looking forward to my boiled egg this morning. I keep telling myself that this is not only resetting my pouch but reminding me that we can sustain ourselves on less food than we think.  I think my biggest problem is that I simply love food but I must learn to consume the food and not let it consume me.  Good luck everyone.
