OMG day too and now i am motivated!!! I peaked on the scale being i peed so much  yesterday and im down 3 lbs!!! THAT will keep me on target today on day  2 of liquids! GUYS i havent lost weight since 12 months out and sure i have gained some so this is great!!!!! HOWS everyone else doin???? hugs!

Start of day two...I weighed this morning too, although I told myself that I wasn't going to..Anyway, down 2lbs, so made me more motivated for today.  I am actually not hungry, I thought I would be, but I'm not!  So far, I have had a protein shake and two bottles of water...I took all my vitamins this morning with a cup of milk...I have also been tracking my intake with fitday.com.  I was surprised yesterday, that actually consumed 923 calories....but, I got in 110grams of protein!!!  WOOHOO!!!!   

Sounds like you had an awesome day as well....Keep up the good work!!!!

Lisa, I'm here today with a smile on my face , I feel wonderful and I'm excited that I DID IT!  I was really concerned yesterday and afraid I'd slip up.  Surviving yesterday makes me realize how much head hunger there is instead of true hunger.

Here is my yesterday:

Breakfast:  protein drink

Lunch:  chicken broth

Snack:  protein drink At about 5:00 I started getting the shakes and knew my sugar was dropping (don't know why) so I ate 1/4 tsp. of peanut butter. 

I'm finding myself again dealing with the hypoglycemia, it's been a while since I've experienced it and the past 2 weeks I've had to deal with it at least 6 times.



Dinner:  protein drink

Snack:  s/f jello (this is my tough time so I made sure I had it available).

Lots and lots and lots of water and coffee......I forgot how all those liquids would keep in my in girls room.

Day 2 I know now I can survive. I didn't weigh this morning, I'm going to try to wait for the 5 days......I feel like I probably did lose something but I also don't want to jinx myself.  I know if I follow the program I will see positive results.

From what I read of your diet yesterday, I don't think you had enough proteins. Proteins brings your sugar up. You can also have liquid soups. I did the five day pouch test last week. I have low blood sugar, My sugar also dropped. I had something to drink besides water every two hr's. I called my NUT. before I went on the test and again on the last day to guide me what to eat when five days were over.

Thanks Tina, I figured it was the protein.  I can't seem to get in more protein shakes, if I drink to many of them I get nauseous.  I've tried milk and water with them and both do it. I know I can have soup, I didn't have any at home and wasn't able to make it to the store so I'm using the broth from Ramon Noodle soup and bouillon cubes (I know these are high sodium however, today is the last day so I'm going to keep it as is. How are you doing now?  Do you find the quantity of food you can eat much smaller now?

I can't really say I eat less food, I still eat about 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup. How much did you eat before?

It has help me see that I can refraim from the sweets and the carbs. I had not been able to refraim for about three yr's. As soon as my pouch would be able to hold food again I would fill it up even if I wasn't hungry. It is head hunger, and my teeth want to chew.
I need a shrink. LOL

Tena, I feel real limited with I eat dense protein, probably about 4 oz.  However, and this is my downfall is those slider foods, I can probably eat at least a cup.  Moving back to Louisiana and close to my family makes me happy but the food choices here aren't good.  You know those Cajuns lots of rice and potatoes so I needed to do something to not crave those evil carbs. I deal with wanting to chew also.  I don't know if I even have "head hunger" because I don't feel or say I'm hungry, I deal with chewing.
