Another one of those days you would love to forget.. I went to a training thing with my co workers and we stopped for lunch on the way back.. oh my.. I could smell the grease in the air and the hardening of arteries going on as I stood there. There was no salad or anything on the menu. I finally with for some carne asada and it was so dry I couldnt do it. So I sat politely looking like I enjoyed the meal.. hehehe... oh well.. He was trying to find a place for all of us to go.

I'm finding it increasingly hard to eat anymore...Maybe it's my food choices or maybe it's the stress here at work. It takes me FOREVER to finish something that should easily fit into my pouch. And the temperature of the food is a big issue...Cold just is so hard to do anymore...Used to be that I had to have ice floating in the liquids but now it's the opposite...Could winter be upon us here in warm California? Whatever.  Breakfast: Oatmeal, raisins and coffee (in honor of National Oatmeal day no less) 307/4/65/9 Snack: Cheese stick and 1 SF chocolate chunk cookie(190/9/22/10) Lunch: Hormel, Salisbury Steak and potatoes (290/13/25/18) Snack: Light Yogurt, 6 ounces, SoBe Protein Bar (230/5/29/18) Dinner:  Cheese Tortillini with meat sauce and cottage cheese (594/23/64/35) Bedtime: 1/2 a protein shake (I was running short on protein again today...need to find some different meat I guess) 10 g protein. Totals:  Calories 1696 Fat: 55 Carbs 213 Protein 102 What do you think, Carla? Should I find something better for Breakfast that has protein in it? I do so love the hot cereal and it warms up my grouchy pouch but I'm falling behind on protein during the day and the only place I can see to stuff more in there is the SF Cookies and breakfast...Everything else has at least some protein. And actually the tortillini has more protein than imitation crab flakes (I have been reading labels like an addict lately). Or maybe I'm doing okay and shouldn't stress over a protein level in the mid 80's.

I just read your posting( I read everyones each day) Have you tried to add some unflavored protien powder to your oatmeal? That would increase your protien and allow you to have your oatmeal too.

I have been using unflavored soy protien which is 60 calories and 14 g protien. It won't change the taste of your oatmeal. I have also used unflavored anywhey protien powder. Both are available at GNC  store or Vitamin shop. Sher

That's an idea...I have some vanilla flavored soy protein that doesn't curdle when heated...And chocolate too...Mmmm. Now I'm thinking I need to give that a try tomorrow. Thanks!
