I personally don't see anything wrong with that if you can handle it. Are you doing protein shakes to get some protein? I was SOOOOOOOOOOO ready for eggs and tuna by day 3. But people go on liquid diets all the time. If you are feeling good, I don't see anything wrong with it.
And surely 5 pounds is fluid!!!

Yep, I would think another day of liquids would be fine. ANd the five pounds is definatly fluid,,you have shocked your body so its gonna hang on for a day or two. Keep drinking tha****er,,and watch your sodium intake.
Im doing it too, second time. I can really tell a difference in how much I can eat,,and how I dump again after not for a long time. Im encouraged.

Yes, I am doing plenty of protein shakes. I am almost afraid that I am having too many and that is the reason for the weight gain. I have had 4 of them today. I bought the Adkins Advantage Chocolate Royale Shake. It has 160 calories. I have had 2 bowls of tomato soup, a few cups of coffee, a few cans of diet pop and LOTS of water. I hope I haven't over done the calories with the shakes but they are really good, especially frozen! But I am doing so well on the liquids that I was thinking doing 1 more day may just cement the success of this pouch test. or at least better my chances of success. I haven't cheated at all either. I just hope that the calories haven't sabotaged me!

Dena, there's no way you're consuming too many calories from what you've mentioned. Don't worry about the (temporary) weight gain. Keep pushing the water (or other no-cal liquids) and it will come back off. And keep in mind--at your weight, you're just not going to lose weight very easily! Your body is hanging on for dear life to the lower calories that you're consuming! Shouldn't be a problem continuing w/ liquids for another day--my hat is off to you! I was crawling the walls by the end of Day 2--LOL!!
