Enough Is Enough

Writing this isn't easy but it's the truth it is time to get out of denial.  I'm here to admit that my eating, taking my vitamins and drinking water has been aweful.  Yes, the scale shows it....this morning I am weighing 135 lbs.  I swore I'd never get to this point, but here I am so today I begin a new program.

I'm starting today on the 5 Day Pouch Test.  So far this morning I've drank 32 oz of water and my vitamins are going in as I type.   I've read from many that the pouch test has reset their pouch and they are not feeling the bloated feeling of the carbs.

So to all of you out there struggling let's do this together, I know I'll need yall support, encouragement and even a swift kick in the butt.

Well it's here, I'm embarassed to admit that when life got busy and stressful I turned to my old friend.

Good to hear from you Dana.  Long time!! I'm doing ok too, have gained to about 125-127.  This frustrates me, but its part of the % of gain we were told about. Have to drink more, and am good abou****ching what I eat. I tried the pouch thing last week, and then forgot about it and ate some raisins and nuts!  So I may try this with you today, we will see how successful I can be.  I don't like being hungry. Glad your plastics went ok and your move seems to have been good for you too. I have considered plastics, but the cost gets me! yikes.   I feel vain for thinking about a breast enlargeement.   Don't have too much saggy skin, but on my   tummy a bit and my butt goes on forevere...... Feeling great though.  Kung fu 3 times a week, and I am keeping toned.  Haven't changed clothes size still a size 4. Buy some 5's or 7's  if they are in the Jr department.  Keeping weight off if always a challenge, and eating protein nibbilies instead of carby ones. Especialy when I am driving with work. I have to get that cheese back in my cooler, that will help.  Put some raisins and nuts in there too, that helps control the munchies. Anyway, glad to see you are doing well! love and blessings, Tami

Hi Dana: I just finished the 5 dpt and it really works.  I did lose 6 pounds and as of this morning 1 more pound for a total of 7 pounds but the greatest thing is that it definitely resets your pouch.  I tried to eat a lean cusine meal last night that two weeks ago I could finish, but tonight I barely got a 1/3 of it in and wasn't sure that was going to stay because I felt stuffed.  I had to get out my notes from over a year ago to see what I was eating.  I am definitely back to basics.  Good luck today and the rest of the week.  I know you will do well. Dana, I am right here beside you and everyone else. Who has gone on the 5 dpt. Seeing how I had a extra 5 pounds added on due to the evil time of the month. That when it left it forgot to take the extra five pounds with it :{. I wish you and everyone else the best of luck. And that you all have a wonderful week. Taichi:}

RNY on 08/16/05 with

Dana,  You've been such an insperation to me and other on the boards here! I guess you're human too. I've been struggling lately too. I'm at 135 too. I feel huge!! As strange as that sounds, before I had surgery I would have killed to weigh 135!  Anyway, I also need to get back on track and am starting the 5 DPT today. I know I'm going to struggle because I have been eating terrible carbs, and that damn candy corn. I wish I couldn't tolerate sugar! Why do I even try?! So, hopefully I can make it through these first 2 days and get my pouch back to the way it was when it was new. How do I reset my mind though?!  Well, enough babble, I'm on the bus for a 5 day ride with ya though. Good luck to us!! Kina

Hey lady, I haven't talked to you in a long time.  Jump on with us....so far I am doing well, thinking about food (of course) but not letting temptation get me.  I've been drinking water and coffee like there it no tomorrow, lol.   I'm hoping this wake up call clears my mind.  You know what it's like to spend this type of money as a self-pay I ain't gonna fail. Keep in touch, we'll be glad we did this.
