5 Days over!

I never thought it possible, but I did the 5 day pouch test.  I would like to rename it as the "reset your pouch days."  I know  now my pouch is in working order I just need to keep it that way.  The mind set is the key to any weight loss story is what it boils down to.  I have to remember to not drink with my meals, the biggest thing I learned is I have to plan.  Plan my meals and snacks and liquids.  If I fall off the wagon I need to just remember the basics.  I hope all you out there have learned something from doing these 5 days.  Some times I just forget and go back to old habits.  I need to make this week my new habits.  Lost about 7 lbs.  Clothes fit better and this morning my husband and I made cookies.  Funny thing there were more then usual.  I didn't eat any dough made more cookies!  The things we do to disrupt our own goals.  Have a great weekend all!  Sheila 2 1/2 years out, not at goal but always looking for it!  And to quote someone else earlier on the board, "whats wrong with a size 16?"

WooooooooooooHooooooooooo Sheila!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I just finished the test to and guess what??? I got an A+ on my test. lol  I did GREAT, didn't cheat and lost 5 pounds. My clothes feel better too. And it certainly did reset my pouch - wow, I'm full so quickly now!!!  Great job not eatting the cookies. My family all at Honey Buns last night and I wasn't even tempted to eat one. I was too proud of my week to screw it up on the last day!!

Hi Shelia: I made it through day 5 too.  I lost a total of 6 pounds but mainly I feel great.  I am more carb aware than ever before.  I think planning my meals ahead of time is what is going to work for me too.  Let keep up the awareness and hopefully with everyone's support survive the Holidays that are coming.  Have a great rest of the weekend. Congratulations everyone I lost 9 lbs on it and it put me in a better frame of mind, to eat protein first and do not drink before or after. Keep up the good work and stay on track, if you do run off the track a little, come here right away for the support. Laura
