See you all tomorrow
Carla
Hello Carla and everyone else logging in today
Carla, you know you need to do better with the intake...I read your post about sabataging maintenance...Lord knows its a heady feeling when you continue to get on the scale and see loss after loss, a fear of regain drives many of us to continue on a "diet" mentality...Please remember, if you are like me, you had this surgery to get healthy - a normal BMI if possible, you have attained that, if you keep loosing you will not remain healthy...My step mother had WLS almost 5 years ago, she never really figured out maintenance and again like many of us feared re-gain, she continues to loose, albeit at a much slower rate now ( maybe 1-2 lbs a month) but that adds up in the long run...She has had to be hospitalized 3 times in the last year for malnurishment ( was down to 84 lbs at one point )and had a feeding tube inserted to assure she gets enough nutrician...I am sad for her, I have tried talking to her about what and when she eats and why she eats - so far she just nods but keeps making the same choices over and over again, thus 3 hospitizations for several health issues...Don't let this become you, OK
Now on to the food...Lost the 4 pounds I picked up during the week & weekend last week, holding steady @ 130 today...Sticking to my course of action...Will be gone to GA for my sister's wedding in about 2 hours and not home until Sunday...

That is very sad about your step mother. I do worry about those things. Last night I got in an arguement with my SO about my weight. I was told I better not loose more was the argument.. I look sick and blah blah blah. Yet I still have that mentality to not eat. Just this last weeks food choices show that.. I have only cracked 1000 one time. I gotta get the calories up and I know it.. but I just havent been hungry. At least I havent lost more weight for the past 2 months. I am staying in the 120 range. I know I can do it. Thank you for all your support. It means a lot to me and all on the board.
So back to you and your food choices...

You have a great time this weekend and we will see you on monday..
Carla
We had a baby shower here that was suppose to start at noon but didn't start until 12:30. I had a strict appointment at 1 pm and got rushed and stressed..I ate exactly what I knew would fit in my pouch but the stress contracted my pouch and I STILL ended up barfing...Oh well. So the lunch estimates are approximate. Breakfast: Cream of Wheat, no fruit or toppings. Second Breakfast: SoBe Protein Bar (peanut butter) and a cup of SF light yogurt (6 oz) Lunch: El Pollo Loco chicken thigh, no skin, El Pollo chicken wing, some skin, several slices of cooked carrots and a piece or two of broccoli. No snack...Too busy. I took that time to catch up on the liquids Dinner: 4-5 oz of salmon, 1/2 lima beans Dessert: 1/2 up of NF Cottage cheese and 4 bite sized SF cookies Totals: Calories: 1610 Fat:48 Carbs:175 (sort of high on this) Protein: 121
