Day 5 of the Pouch Test
Ok day 4 is over and have started day 5.
So far so good. Still not hungry and sticking to the plan.
Last night for dinner I had scrambled eggs with chopmeat. Had that very uncomfortable feeling, pouch telling me if I eat one more bite this is going to be very painful and come back up.
So far today had my coffee and 2 bottles of water on the way to work. I have planned to have the rest of scrambled eggs and chopmeat for breakfast. For lunch I brought in a chicken cutlet and will cut that up and have for lunch.
Well I weighed myself this morning and did a high five to myself. My weight on Monday morning was 227 and today was 218 that is 9 pounds gone. I am just please that I got below 220. I am determined to not let it get above the 220 again.

Wow Laura - Congrats - 9 pounds is soooo excellent!!!!
I stayed on focus yesterday. I got in about 750 calories but not enough water.
I am down 5 pounds this week! I actually put on a skirt this morning and it's falling off of me. It fit just fine last week!!! I can't believe the difference 5 pounds can make in clothing sizes. I NEVER would have noticed a 5 pound flux when I weighed 266 that's for sure.

Starting day 5 woohoo! I am filling in for a friend at the office today so I will be working a 9-5 schedule. I'm in Real Estate so my hours usually or very flexible. I have packed my food and drinks for today so I should be okay. I am down 5 lbs as of today. Yesterday was a head hunger day or boredom day because I was stuff in the house all day due to the messy weather here. I survived but it was not easy. Congratulations on your 9 lb loss. That is awesome. Chat with you later.

Today is day 5. What a week! I can't say I have been hungry this week. Alittle head hunger last night. Ate a tablespoon of peanut butter. It was good. I then proceeded to try on clothes. What a fun time that was! I lost 6lbs. But what a differance it makes. Congratulations to all of us! Now lets keep this momentum going. I really am glad that my clothes are fitting better. And the pouch tightness is deffinatly there. It should be called the pouch reset plan not a test! I really feel positive hopefully this will continue. Prayers to all for continued success. Sheila
I’m ready to rock and roll on day 5. Yesterday I had ground beef, salmon, black beans (not sure if these are allowed), protein drinks and lots of water. Still not hungry and NOT craving simple carbs. That’s a huge thing for me. I am down a few pounds, too, but getting rid of the carb monster is what has made this all worth it.
Laura, thanks for posting, I haven't had much time to be on the boards but keep reading and promising myself to start the 5 day pouch test and still 2 weeks later I say I'll start tomorrow.
I have what I need and need to drop some weight.....you just gave me that "push" to do it.

I am drinking a protein shake right now. I figured I need to get in my water I might as well get some protein in too.
I also hope this lasts, well I am determined to make it last, the real test will be Saturday night, I have a Halloween party. The good news it is late at night and you are really expected to eat at home.
I won't be checking in until Monday, as my computer at home is down.
