So here we are... hump day. How are we doing for the week. I dont know if its all you all doing that pouch thing but I have not been eating much lately either. I found a new protein drink that comes in a can and when I drink it I am just so not hungry. Very strange for me. Anyway here is my day.


Breakfast

protein drink, 1 serving 110 0 1 25
Quaker Instant Oatmeal, Lower Sugar, Maple and Brown Sugar, 1 serving 120 24 2 4


Lunch.. this is a different protein drink but it is so filling..

No I did not drink enough. I am thristy because I havent drank enough.. need to drink but than I would be up all night..lol..

I have looked at those doing the pouch test...I'm not sure exactly what it is or whats involved it doesnt seem to be that much less calorie wise than I eat and I sure dont drop weight. Glad it works for them. I guess maybe its the Things they are eating???  I will be going away for 2 weeks we leave early Fri morning so I will weigh in tomm morning. I will take lap top and be able to post but I won't have a scale to weigh. Today for me: B almonds 16     yogert 6oz L string cheese 3 oz D 2 oz chicken     Protein bar ( not my usual one had to many calories and everything else)  S Almonds 12      jello 1 1/2 cup with cool whip ( not at the same time)      sf sweet pickles 4 sticks      decaf coffee with smiss miss no sugar  calories 920      fat 45      carb 55      Protein 81

I hope you have a great trip and take time to enjoy yourself. Sounds like you will be gone a while so that's nice. good day yesterday. Not as high as the last few days. you could go higher on your day. I have never heard of a sf sweet pickle.. hmmm...

Geeee, girl you've got to up those calories! I too know when I have slipped on the drinking because I am thirsty. If I'm drinking like I should I don't get thristy at all.  Well, i posted my eattings on a seperate post, but I was surprised to see that I ate less then 500 calories yesterday. I'm not very hungry, I guess today I'll have to make myself eat more!  But I definately can feel that my clothes are feeling better on me. I don't need to go down a size, but what I have is now fitting good and not tight at all.

Yes I saw your earlier post.. that was really low. I think you should be getting more than that.. at least add more protein shakes in or something.

glad your clothes are fitting better. thats the key. dont grow out of what you are wearing and you can never get to far out of wack.

Yes.. I go through trends like this where I just dont want to eat. I did add some oatmeal yesterday but it didnt raise it much. I need to rethink my eating and get the calories back up. I think I am subconsiously trying to do this pouch test,....lol

Hi Carla: You are almost on that pouch test too!  I had a great food day on Wednesday and felt pretty darn good.  Here is my day. Breakfast:  1 fried egg in Pam spray snack:         1 Protein Shake Lunch:         1/2 can Tuna, 1 teas. light miracle whip                       1 s.f. pudding snack:          1/2 can Tuna Plain snack:          1 Protein Shake Dinner:         1 1/2 eggs scrambled in Pam spray with 1/2 slice American cheese Snack:          1 Protein Shake Liquids:  80 oz. of water, decaf tea, decaf coffee Cals. 760, Fats 21.25, Protein 105.5, Carbs. 36.5 Got 20 minutes of cardio in but it rain today so no walking for me. Dropped another pound too.  Awesome! Darlene

A very nice pouch day and still keep the calores, f,p, and c down... you are doing great girl...

Good Day to All Here's a light fairy kiss to all you post'rs...Wednesday was GOOD, I'm really liking the track I'm on, and down another lb today which helps when I hear the little whisper from the poorer choices beckoning me... B - protein on the Go S - 1/2 diet cocoa & 1/2 coffee with a shot of choc/caramel creamer S - EAS protein bar L - fried chicken breast      1/2 cup peas-n-carrots S - sf / ff choc pudding D - 1 cup caesar salad topped with 3 oz sliced london broil S - cup of diet cocoa w/ a squirt of choc reddi-whip PLUS - 78 oz clear liquids Cals  -  1156     Fat - 48     Carbs - 79     Protein - 106 Ciao - Alesia

it was a very long day for me starting at 2 am...Up, couldn't sleep cuz my tummy was growling...So I ate two mini sf lemon muffins...Those carbs will let me sleep a few more hours.  Pre-Dawn Breakfast: SF mini muffins Breakfast: Cream of Wheat, no banana, coffee Second Breakfast: SoBe Protein Bar (peanut butter) and a cup of yogurt Lunch: veggie stuffed bell pepper (rice and mixed veggies and cheese) didn't eat but 2/3 of it and not the pepper, 2 oz of stewed pork rib, too fatty so I didn't finish that either.  Snack: 2 more mini muffins and a cheese stick.  Dinner: Grilled chicken breast, 2 slices of swiss cheese (the waitress was so embarrassed that she forgot my cheese that she gave me two slices) Up late after the support group meeting..>Too excited about it all to sleep so I had another snack: Wheat crackers and cheese (again with the cheese...It must have been Cheesy Wednesday at my house..LOL)  Totals:  Calories: 1777 Fat: 79 Carbs 144 Protein 119 I weighed myself this morning...119.6 again. A slight fluctuation but I'm not going to let it bother me.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!
