Well, I'm done with day 3. I wasn't really hungry. I'm worried that I'm getting such low calorie intake though. Here's what I had today:   (calories, fat, carbs, protein) scrambled egg (80, 5, 0, 7) tuna fish 3 oz (80, 1, 1, 18) chicken canned 3 oz (90, 2, 0, 20)  sf pudding cup (60, 2, 13, 2) protein drink (185, 4, 11, 24) Totals:  Calories: 495 Fat: 13 Carbs: 25 Protein: 71 I had the chicken because I open my tuna fish and it was rotten (ICK) I must have boughten a bad batch, so I had to throw away my 3 cans; and all I had in the house then was a travel packet of chicken. Is anyone else getting this low of numbers???

I got in a few hundred more than you did, but they are still pretty low.  We made it through day 3 . . . woohoo!  I had fish, Kaye's chicken feta salad, 2 protein drinks, come canned salmon, and a pudding.  Wow, that seems like a  lot when I write it out here.  Day 4, here I come!

Hi Laura: I had  two more protein drinks than you did so my calories were around 760.  I had the last protein shake so that I could get my protein grams up a bit before I went to bed.  If you think about it, when we first came home from surgery our calories only ranged around 300-400 calories a day and then we thought we were stuffed.  So the question is "how many calories do we actually need to get through our daily life".  My mind saids a lot more but my body is getting along fine on what it is receiving.  Food for thought for the day.
