Day 3 Wednesday Pouch Test
Ok not bad onto day 3, yesterday I had protein drinks, my SF pudding/jello and about 90 ounces of water.
Today is SOFT Protein, so I have brought in to work 2 hard boiled eggs and 2 single servings of Chicken of the Sea Tuna Cups (80 calories each and 18 grams of protein. I also brought in a protein shake, I like to get in the extra protein.
We will see how it goes. How is everyone doing so far?

Today will be a little tricky for me because of work/school. After 8am I don't get a chance to eat again until noon and then it's only a few minutes, but I think I'll run home and eat some tuna for lunch. Then I don't get home until 4pm so I'll have a protein drink then and for dinner, probably more tuna! I did great on Day 2. It was easier then day one for me.
So far so good for me. I had a small piece of fish for breakfast, a protein shake and the chicken/feta salad listed on Kaye's website for lunch. I'm allergic to egg whites, but everyone's eggs sound yummy. I'm sure not hungry today and not eating much. It seems impossible that the carb monster is gone so quickly. I'm really surprised at how easy this has been for me. Maybe it's because as of this morning, I was only 1 pound away from having a normal BMI
. I know the weight I've lost so far is water, but I don't care right now. Just seeing the scale moving again is motivating for me.

I couldn't finish one egg this morning. I drank a protein drink and we're having some sales meetings off site the rest of the week and so I kind of blew it at lunch. We had sandwiches and I took a turkey sandwich and ate a little of the turkey but succumbed to the temptation of a brownie (couldn't eat it all) and a tiny snack size bag of tater chips. I snarfed that down, I could not help myself.
The good news is I'm down 8 pounds from last week when I started the Weigh****cher's core plan, which I am going to resume. The rest of the week is going to be a challenge. But I am going to go home tonight and have some tuna or maybe some flounder.

Day 3 is just about over and amazing as it seems I am following plan and the not snacking is GREAT ! I hope this process will help me keep the snack monster and carb monster away. Maybe it was the planning that has gone into this week, or the determination to get a hold of myself control but I feel so much better. Please someone keep reminding me of this great feeling! I certainly got full a lot faster. The hardest thing is the no drinking with, or before and after meals. Good luck to everyone on day 4! Sheila
