Accountability... What did you eat Monday

So have you all noticed. So. Cal. is on fire and the wind is blowing us all of the road. So I wake up this morning to find the my two side fences are gone and my pool is black with dirt. Needless to say, I spent the day rebuilding my fences. lots of fun there. On a sad note, many people are homeless, booted from their homes and have lost their homes. It is a bad time here right now. the skies are black with smoke. Say a small prayer for all these folks. For me I am far from any fires but still see the damage they are making.

So I spent my day rebuilding my fences and expect another long night of winds (I am a closet case carpenter with lots of tools..... ) A large tree tore out our electrical in our neighborhood and we went without electricity for 12 hours. It's all back on and the fences are up. I ate about the same but with all the extra movement of building these fences I probably burned a few calories..

So here was my day...

Gosh so sorry to hear of your damage but so sad to hear of so many others in and so close to the fires. I will say a prayer for them.  Another hectic day here too...my daughter got home from a trip today...at about 8pm i get a call she is yelling histerically for her dad to come over ( we live 5 blks away )....we went praying the whole way. Her hubby of 1 year has a greyhoud pitbull mix..my daughter has 2 papillions....yes She got my daughters dog : (  We think she will be ok but will know more tomm.  sooooo that was my stress of the day. I have a papillion at home too so we are upset to say the least. Her hubbys dog is with his sister right now...I am not sure what he is going to do ...I KNOW what I would do...well anyway...here is my food intake day: B almonds 10     yogert 6oz L achiveone 9.2 oz   D chicken and cheese 3 oz     chips 13      salsa 1/4 cup   S banana bread  sm muffin    date fig bar 1 cookie    jello 1 c Cal 837     fat 19     carb 90     protein 69 not exact as i couldnt find the stats on some of this but as close as I could figure. Wow.. that is awful. I love animals as well so I know the pain she must be in. I will say a prayer for the little one. Papillions are so cute.

Very low day for you all the way around. like you said tomorrow is another day. get that ship to sailing smoothly. For some reason this weekend has been crazy for most of us.

Wow, I made it through day one of the pouch test!! WHEW!!!!!!!!! It was pretty easy - at first!! But come dinner time I was soooo wanting to eat something. I held on though and tuffed it out.  b - protein drink  l - protein drink d - protein drink (hhmmm, I see a pattern here) lol  s - 3 sf pudding cups (not all at once) Cals: 735 Fat: 17 Carbs: 72   I'm confused here, thought we weren't supposed to have carbs, but there are carbs in protein powder and in sf pudding. Protein: 78  Lots of water, ice tea, to go sticks. I quite counting after 80 oz but I know it was over 100 oz total.  And the best part of all............no problems in the bathroom, except having to go OFTEN!! I think I'm all cleaned out. heeeheee  Today I might try some cream soup, I generally dont like soup though, so we'll see

1000cals... 100carbs...65 protein( need to increase on this).

Yes the protein is still on the low side but your numbers are looking good along with your choices. It takes a little work to find what works for you.. Keep it up. Soon you can put that ship on autopilot.

Hi Carla: I glad you are out of the line of the fire but it is really sad about all the other folks who are losing their homes.  I hope the fires are out soon for everyone's sake.   I made it through day 1 of the pouch test today.  I had 4 protein shakes, 4 cups of broth, and 2 S.F. cups of pudding.  My totals are 655 calories, 56 carbs, 88 protein grams and 7.5 grams of fat.  I had over 120 ounces of water, decaf tea and crystal lite drinks and 2 cups of decaf s.f. coffee.  Whew!  I spent a lot of time in the bathroom today and found out that I need some new reading materials but I am down 2 lbs today.  I hope you have a awesome day today.  Chat with you later. Thats odd it would put u and laurie in the bathroom. Not sure why that is. Sounds like you did well.. on to day two now.. keep it going girl.. watch for the exercise and dont tire yourself out to much..

Well it was suppose to be Day 3 of the pouch test for me...I made it through the first two days of liquids alright then the fires happened. We had to pack up to evacuate...the fire was pretty close and we were ready...the fire shifted and it seems like we are ok but many friends are displaced and my house is the "refugee" center.  I am happy to do it.  BUT it means providing meals etc...so I got a little off track on Day 3 but I figure I can just redo Day 3 today right? B: Coffee L: Tuna/egg salad (1/2 cup total) S: Protein shake D: Pat & Oscars (the only place open in the city)      1/4 chicken, greek salad and 1 bread stick LNS: 1/4 cup cottage cheese, 1 slice cheese, 1 oz lunch meat Cal: 1469          Carbs: 84            Fat: 71            Protein: 100 Man it adds up fast Can not exercise due to the air quality...have to stay indoors...most busineses are closed.
