I tried the one with southwest seasoning and it wasn't too bad. They are fully cooked so you just microwave and eat~I found it a nice alternative to tuna and it wasn't too dry. The sodium might be high for some and I won't eat them all the time, but it was a quick protein source and I couldn't finish the whole 4oz serving so it was filling~ Cal 120 Fat 1g Protein 26g Sodium 580mg (like I said, a little high, but I don't eat salt on anything so I think it was ok for me occasionally)

Thanks for the info Darlene! So, what's the steak like?? I have not been able to eat any kind of steak since surgery, but I'm wondering if this is a different texture than steak off the grill?? I do fine with chicken so I'll give those a try!

Tracy, how is this packaged--box, pouch, or can?   I'll try to find it the next time I'm at the store; I'm sure I'd like it. Thanks!

Always,
Jo

Hi Jo! It comes in a pouch and I found it right over with the canned or pouch tuna. There's a few different flavors depending on what you like.

Thanks!  I'm always looking for something different--and simple--with chicken.

Tracy, I love to put my Bumble Bee chicken in my salad and it is very yummy!   I love that it has 26g of protein!!!   I always keep it here at work in my locker, since it doesn't have to be refrigerated, in case of an emergency.  It has saved me from pizza or some other no no many times!   Thanks for the tip!  Please let me know if you have any others, specially if they can stay in my locker

Hi Tracy: The steak is a little tough like a sirloin steak, but definitely an improvement over beef jerky.  It gives me something to chew on.  You may want to stay with the chicken.  I usually fix both dishes with stirfry vegetables and a little olive oil.  It is really yummy.  Darlene
