day 1 of 5daypouchtest!!!
I don't think you can really "mess up" your pouch. There can be mechanical things that go wrong in some people, but that's from more of a surgical standpoint I believe rather than user error if you know what I mean. I wasn't really hungry on day 1, but it hit me harder on day 2. Also, if your hungry than have a protein shake, drink some broth or what really helped me was the s/f pudding~it had a little substance so my tummy felt better. If you can make it thru day 1 and day 2 then day 3 won't be too hard~scrambled eggs and tuna haven't tasted that good since just after my surgery, LOL!! Stay busy, come here to talk, whatever it takes! You CAN do this!!!!!!!!!
Edited to add drink LOTS of fluids!!! That will help too!

No, I don't think you've messed up your pouch. Just hang in there and stick with it. You will really notice the difference after 5 days and it will all have been worth it.
Make sure you are drinking enough and have plenty of protein shakes. Each time you feel hungry have a shake.
Good luck
I think your tummy/pouch may just be used to being more full than it is with just liquids. I had to do three days of clear liquids a few months ago before a colonoscopy,I was so hungry the first day, not as bad the next two. I am going to start the 5 day reset on Monday; all my protein powder is at work! It will probably be easier to do when I am work anyway; I hope! Good luck and keep us posted!

I was going to start the 5-day on Thursday but couldn't so I will be starting it for sure on Tuesday - I'm getting so I really can't wait to get started and back on track. I kinda have the same excited feeling I had right before WLS! Keep drinking your water, by the time you get this post you'll be on day 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You go girl!!!

I know you are on day 2 now (that was MY hardest day) - I hope you made it though yesterday! Do you drink coffee? Warm liquids (broth and cream soups) helped me - plus sugar free jello and pudding! Remember the plan doesn't restrict calories so drink as much as you want to help you feel better. I did and I still lost 8 pounds last week!
Keep at it! It is so worth it! I'm over 4 years out and my pouch is working again! I am so excited!
Best of luck to you!
